Sony Ericsson K700i on O2
I was expecting this phone to be expensive, But it's gone straight to free with contact. But it is a little confusing, because O2 show the phone twice. Once as free, and again at £30. Can anyone make any sense of this, and is this price too good to be true?

I am glad you posted this message!
I have just ordered my new K700i from O2. It was free but the monthly contract price is £30.00 |

But there are two K700is shown. If you go to the site and click on 'Mobile Phones'. Then filter for SE phones. Now there are two K700is shown. One is free with the Online 200 tarrif, the other is free. But clicking on either will take you to the tarrif choice screen, so you could select the £30 phone and presumably still select the Online 200 tarrif which would have provided a free phone had you clicked ont he other option. Hard to explain, but check it out.
When your phone arrives, could you tell us about it?

OK, I ran it through and if I go for the £30 phone and then choose the Online 200 tarrif, it then removes the £30 phone charge.
All is well.

the phone is £29.99 unless you subscribe to the online 200 tariff. In that case the phone is free.

It's a very good phone with one of the best screen's around. VGA camera so it's better than the T630 camera. It also has 40meg of user memory. I expect it will be as succssful as T610 was.

I've got one (PM me if theres anything you want to know, i know infos very sketchy on the net about it atm)
I'm extremely pleased with it, but I wish the camera didn't make a noise every time i take a photo. Even when on silent mode it does it which is bloody annoying! But yeh. Good phone. |

loads of info on da net at mobileburn.com and howard forums (both have reviews and user experiencing, not an ad for either site). i remember someone statingt that if the phone is in meeting mode the camera shutter sound is not present. I dont have da phone but its worth a try!
