New addition (stolen from DWTS I believe). This is the first time the meetings between pros and celebs will be in front of an audience and all in the same place at the same time rather than pre-recorded individually, then they have 3 weeks to train before the first live show.

Half the couples we presume will dance Latin the first weekend, and half ballroom, then vice versa the second weekend. Alternative is all ballroom week 1 and all Latin week 2 but I don't see that happening! No elimination week 1, potential for a double elimination later in the series.

Ahh I knew it was in front of an audience this time, didn't realise it was being filmed as well.

I've got the list in. I think it's a great lineup and a good mix. Plenty of potential dancing talent, which for me, is more important than the celebs ability to generate tabloid headlines.
e.g. I'd take a less well known popstar over Kerry Katona!

There's quite a few names we already knew about due to leaks/tabloids, but there's still a few surprises in there. Some nice, some not so nice

As long as that post means Kerry Katona's not in it, I'll be happy.

Paxman reveals 4 names on Newsnight
Jeremy Paxman just held up the front page of tomorrows newspaper on Newsnight. He confirmed that Anne Widdecombe would be on Strictly.....there were 4 pictures on the front of the paper they were
