Oh that's a fab one! I've been hoping for a pic of Mario sitting in the DR chair! I still wonder if he'll put Davina McCaw on the top.

Yes, the trip to Italy was definitely worth missing Lost for! Best holiday ever.

I did get to see it; it was repeated on the Friday, which luckily enough was the day I flew home. And yeah, I think I probably would've been completely overwhelmed by it all if I had actually watched it at 6am, both emotionally and mentally trying to iron the whole thing out in my head. I wasn't prepared for the massive sob I let out at the Sawyer/Juliet reunion!

Interesting... though the ones I like from the pre-series photos usually end up being early elimination fodder.

I know what you mean.
When a weird girl knows how to take advantage of their look then Tyra adores them, but if they don't know how to work it infront of the camera then Tyra's disappointed and gets rid of them.

All the girls look quite good there.

Though I did slightly gasp at the girl 3rd from the bottom. lol

I know what you mean. I always get a bit irritated when Tyra eliminates them for a "flat personality" even if they've taken a bundle of stunning photos.

By the way, I am sitting here eating genuine Jaffa Cakes, as opposed to virtual ones! (cream soda, Jaffa Cakes, brownies.. hate to imagine what my sugar intake has been today...

)

I don't even like Jaffa Cakes.

I'm currently eating a few Curly Wurlys.

Oh yeah, the no personality card really starts to grate. It's basically just a way for Tyra to eliminate a girl she doesn't like personally.
I think Victoria cycle 9 was the biggest victim of the personality card. Remember that week was the plant photo shoot, and Twiggy tells Victoria that it was quite fitting that she was the cactus, and Victoria snaps back "Let's get one thing straight, I don't have a prickly disposition"

Then she's eliminated because of that, despite being really smart, interesting, and having great pictures.

That's actually the reason I use the name meglos and think of myself as a cactus.

Uh-oh, that link to the video in that ANTM thread has got me watching ANTM episodes on youtube. Must stop.

I seem to remember Sheena (C10?) getting that one; she was another I thought had really beautiful photos.

Sheena the Asian girl from cycle 11?
I think Tyra loved her personality, keeping her over Lauren Brie, who took amazing pictures, but Tyra found Lauren Brie bland. Sheena managed to make it to the final 6 because of her personality, but got eliminated for being too hoochie and not model-like.
