That night when he made you the origami eye to cheer you up was very touching. You often seemed to bring out the sweeter side of his character. I loved it when you got up to mischief too. It seemed an unlikely friendship to start with though. Did you ever think you could become friends with him when he first walked in?

2. My one frustration with Dave was that nobody challenged some of his more dubious ideas. In hindsight, do you think you might have got more from the experience if you hadn’t been so accepting of things from Dave’s opinions to John-James’ mood swings because it often seemed, certainly in the early days, that you were the only person who seemed to be able to talk reasonably to all parties?

Looks like Mario and Corin's meal out went well lol.

These two were great together in the house and are great together outside of it too.

They are just such enthusiastic people and I like that so much about them.

I loved them both in the house. It's strange when you think back that early in the series Corin and Mario didn't seem to talk to each other much (I think they nominated each other ??) but once they got to know each other they had some really funny moments and their friendship blossomed

Yes it was funny because on paper you wouldn't necessarily imagine them getting on with each other, but somehow they just seemed to click with each other.
Corin came across as a bit shallow and superficial, but she proved to me in the way she handled a lot of the situations in the house that she actually had depth, spunk and a very strong character.

Yeah, I love their enthusiam too - they both really threw themselves into everything in the house, while some of the other HMs just seemed to treat BB as a waiting room.

And yes, sounds like the meal went very well!

People often don't gel at first but then find that those they thought they would get on with aren't really for them and vice versa.

It was lovely watching the 2 BB enthusiasts getting closer as the weeks went on

I think they had the same goal in mind - to have the opportunity to experience as much of all that BB entails as possible. Not necessarily to win, despite what jj1 constantly banged on about that, but to be there as near to the end as possible so as not to miss out on any of the tasks/events that go along with BB.

And they were very honest about that.

Next time someone updates the list can they add another question for me;

Fans of other housemates in the house would often say that although they loved X iin the house they would find them really annoying in real life. Your fans however all agreed that you were the person they would want to have as a friend/ brother/lover/son. Who in the house would you categorise in this way ?Friend/sister/lover/brother etc.

We have a fantasy of you playing Dr Who....who would you want as your assistant and who would be your mega baddie.

I couldn't believe how unenthusisastic some of the other hms were tbh. And Mario and Corin would get stick for actually appreciating the things that BB gave them to do which was daft imo.

Their enjoyment was mistaken for being desperate to win which I don't think they were.

It was all about experiencing BB stuff for them, whether it was having a real go in the tasks, seeing new hms go in etc.

Right, I've ordered the first 3 books in Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series as mentioned by Mario yesterday.

Here's hoping he has good taste in literature lol.
