New Suffles (Just $49) that are EXTREMELY small, have buttons, 15 hours of battery, and voice over commands so it's even easier to find and start your music.

New iPod Nano's (just $149) - small square touch screens. . .pretty much the same size as a shuffle but with a touch screen It has multitouch - pretty much a tiny iPod Touch! It's UI look absolutely beautiful and simple to use. Just one finger needed.

New iPod Touches that are even thinner too with a Retina display and 24 bit colour LED backlit display, front facing FaceTime camera and other stuff from the iPhone 4 including another REAR camera for HD recording - is this the end of Flip cameras?

Very small and impressive.

ooOOoo "Ping" a social networking service for iTunes. Facebook meets Twitter meets iTunes.

Sounds great already.

Holy cow at the new Apple TV

It's a quarter of the size and has no syncing etc - rent high definition content directly without any fannying around!!

All streaming , no syncing. . .no storage management and fannying around with syncing stuff from iTunes. . .just turn on. . browse. . .pick. . .and rent.

$0.99 for commercial-free HD television shows

Gotta love Apple, I phoned up to preorder the iPod touch, the advisor new nothing. "Ah was there an announcement she said, and asked me all the details of what had been announced"

Haha.

This Apple TV looks VERY well thought out.

Rotten tomatoes, links to whatever other films the actors were in, how many episodes of a season you haven't seen, chapters, little lag. . .it's a content distributor - it's going to work great this time around. It's a beautiful UI - the original Apple TV was half arsed.

Engadget are loving it going from Steves demo.

People with iPad's will LOVE this. . .you can stream content from your iPad straight over the air to Apple TV.

It'll be interesting to see what the UK pricing is like compared to the US ones.

I wonder if they'll slowly ditch the iPod Classic?

I bet direct $ to £ conversion

Perhaps iPod classic sales have fallen with the Nano and Touch converging on it from different directions.

The only disappointment for me about the iPod touch 4G is that it is even thinner. That presumably means battery life when not playing music could be compromised. I'd rather have that extra millimeter or so back (it is thin enough already) if it meant a larger battery which lasts longer. Mind you, I've never actually fully drained the battery on a day's use out and about, but a bit more in reserve would be nice.

They've messed about with the iPod nano too much in my view. It's not the same product now. You can't watch videos on it presumably, with it being a square screen? Can you play games on it? And without the click wheel it's going to be too difficult to change song in your pocket (though it does have a volume button).

I don't even think it looks nice. It's just a square. And it's too small. It doesn't even look like an iPod.

AND they appear to have killed the Classic. The 64GB touch is the biggest capacity you can get.

This sucks. I may have to get a 160GB Classic (or two) whilst I still can.

I very very much doubt that. However if so, then a round of applause for apple would be in order!

American prices don't include Tax and also it costs more to do business in Europe for them.

I went to download iTunes 10 with PING but it's still giving me 9.2.1 even though it says iTunes 10

I WANT TO PINGBOOK!

Don't agree. Old AppleTV was far better. This is just the same without the hard drive or connectivity.

No Apps? No iPlayer? No download off-peak (when bandwidth is cheap) for later viewing. No purchasing.

I'll stick with my original AppleTV running XBMC and iPlayer

It looks like the Classic isn't quite dead after all. They're still making them they just haven't updated them this year. Maybe they won't next year either. But no need to panic about buying one I guess.

Hope not unless they improve the storage space in the other devices
