Ipod Touch 2nd Gen VS the new 4th Gen?

I've got a 2nd Gen Touch, I'm looking at updating to the new 4th Gen having had this one since they came out (Day one). What I want to know, and some people who own a 3rd gen might know the answers (or at least some of them) to the below.

1. Will the speaker be better?

2. Are they using a new CPU, if so does anyone know the differances?

3. How much betters the battery life (I know the new one's 40HR's music, not sure on Movies etc, I'm also not sure how much the 2nd gen is, it's not something thats borthered me, more offten than not it's charging in my car when in use anyway?)

4. How to I move my content from my current iPod to my new iPod touch 4?

5. Anything else I should know?
Thanks guys.

1. Will the speaker be better?

-- Pass

2. Are they using a new CPU, if so does anyone know the differances?

-- Yes, an Apple A4 processor. Much faster than the 2G's.

-- Plug the new one into iTunes, it should let you restore the new iPod as a 'clone' of the last one, preserving your settings and content. First sync will take a while, after that you're good.

5. Anything else I should know?

-- Not really. Out of curiosity, what are your reasons for wanting to upgrade?

Thanks guys.”

- The speaker will probably be the same, but it does fine for listening to games or music.
- The new Apple A4 processor is much better than the one that is in the 3G iPod Touch, let alone the 2G.
- Up to 40hrs music and up to 7hrs video.
- Plug in iPod 4G and sync!
- This one has a camera [stills and HD video], it has the fancy new Retina Display, it has better graphics, better software, FaceTime, it's smaller and lighter. The list goes on

Hey russellelly, mainly for the reasons in CoolboyA's post.

The speaker looks like it has been upgraded for the 4G because in previous iterations, it was 'integrated' into the dock connector (as in the sound passed out of that). It now has its own grille which leads me to believe it maybe slightly better but not as good as an iPhone speaker.
Although saying that, this link showing some of the innards of the new touch show a rather empty hole where an speaker would reside so only time will tell.
