No no no it's Claudia Winkleman to join Strictly Come Dancing.oh! That woman enraged me so much last year that I emailed the BBC to tell them why and now it's your turn to know.

When she is on screen talking, she wobbles from side to side, every second she shifts her body weight from one leg to another giving us viewers the wobble factor. You won't need reminding of this as once you've picked up on it, it hits you left right and centre.

As she awaits for her turn to speak, you can see her getting reading to start again, no sooner has the last word left the mouth of whoever is talking, off she goes again.

Don't mention the eyes. Big black butterflies flitting away constantly.

She is off-putting and is no asset to the show and this is what I told the BBC, but they say she has a following.

You watch her, you decide.

What do you mean "to join Strictly Come Dancing" she's been associated with the show for several years?

Personally I think she's fab and you probably better get ready to contact the BBC again as she is going to present Film 2010.

Go Claudia ...

Well, I completely disagree with you. I like her, watched her in full on It Takes Two and believe she is exciting and fun. Yes she has her downsides but so does Brucie and Tess and every other television presenter. One needs to think about how one would do themselves before speaking this way! Claudia will be a welcome break from Brucie (though I love him!)

I think you're in a minority who dislike her I'm afraid.

I like her as well - excellent choice for the results show (especially if she is allowed to be herself).

I dislike her after having lunch in a Hertfordshire pub next to her table of much sloshedness and much loudness a few weeks ago.

Yes you're right islandman. She's very silly. And I like her.

Is this the BEEB's way of rewarding Claudia for standing in last year with Ronnie Corbett when Bruce was ill?

I can't help but think this decision has either been made on the orders of Brucie's doctor given his age or because Jay Hunt has realised that Alesha Dixon will never enable Strictly to compete with Cheryl Cole on the X Factor.

I like her. The only thing i don't like is how rushed ITT can be but that wouldn't be her fault.

yeah she's the perfect presenter for ITT, cant imagine it with anyone else...

This is not a silly decision on behalf of the BBC it was an obvious one to me......she is already part of the team and it would be silly to employ someone else just for a pre-recorded results show......in fact the only thing silly about it is that Tess would be more than capable of doing it alone.

I think the OP is probably in a minority amongst the general SCD fans......yes she can be silly and girly and daft but thats not always a bad thing.

Seconded!

(Maybe with a "bonkers" thrown into the sentence wherever deemed appropriate..)

Like her or not I think Claudia really connects with dancers and pros and that relaxed feeling is what makes IT2 great fun. That showed last series when she was on the main show for that one week. The backstage interviews were miles better than the awkward ones Tess can pull off. If Claudia can bring some of that to the Sunday shows I will be very happy.

I like Claudia but I doubt she'll really get to do enough to annoy people who don't. It's only a 30 minute show, probably full of VTs, performances, and just reading off who's eliminated from a list of names. She's not going to have nearly as much to do as if she were doing the main show.

I think you'll be way in the minority on this one OP! Have you ever watched It Takes Two? Claudia is already a huge part of SCD, (in fact *whispers* I think I prefer ITT to the main show!), she always has a genuine rapport with all the contestants and actually cares about what happens , far more than Tess appears to.
The only mystery is why it took the BBC so long to make this decision when it has surely been obvious from the word go.

I couldn't think of anyone better to present the results show than Claudia!! She's fabulous on ITT and she clearly has a great rapport with the pros and celebs

In fact, I wish she'd present the Saturday show too instead of Bruce, but I can fully understand her not wanting to have to be at the studio all day after working all week on ITT

Her presenting style is very bizarre but that's what makes her endearing to the pros, dancers and the public.

Is she still going to do ITT, given that she's about to do the Film 2010 replacement in place of Jonathan Ross any time now as well?

Danger of Mylene Klass style overload if she does all three. Anyone would think the BBC had a shortage of people capable of being TV presenters

Can you explain how Claudia will help strictly compete with X factor ? I am at a loss to understand the logic in your post.

To keep in line with her numerous references to food, I think she is crackers and love her for it. The more she has to do with the show the better as far as I am concerned!
