Claudia Winkleman is a great presenter and I'm looking forward to her presenting Film 2010 and the results show.

Have just had a great idea (helped by a v large glass of red wine) Claudia takes over from Brucie in main show and Marian Keyes takes over ITT

Me too (well, I would say that ...) we saw her a couple of weeks ago - got free tickets to a recording of "Hot Gossip" - thought she handled the panel very well (including American bloke who was so un p.c. it was unbelievable - Claudia said at one point "I can hear the show's lawywers in my earpeice, sobbing").

Yes, she's bonkers but thank God she's not a cardboard cut out like so many female presenters.

She has a certain vulnerability, too. When we saw her I wanted to go and give her a hug (and a big cake). Fortunately Mr Cake prevented me but I don't think she would have minded!

Dancing Cake said it all. At least she's not a cardboard cut-out (Tess) and she is likeable when she jokes (Brucie).

And she has the bestest shoes ever

ON ITT/SCD Claudia is fab - in other areas she has been weak - I do not agree with her getting the Film 2010 gig -there are better qualified people - e.g she does not want to say anything even remotely controversial as a result she fawns over her guests -

Exactly! She's the best presenter associated with the show by a mile!

I really like Claudia. ITT is an essential part of strictly as far as I'm concerned. Glad she's helping to present the results show with Tess.

I love Claudia. She always looks as if she is having great fun and that is very infectious. Having her there is one of the few positives of this series so far

I agree about Film 2010 its dumbing down of the worst kind but then in general I can't stand her anyway- I Sky+ ITT and only watch the bits that I want so I don't have to listen to her!

I guess I will be doing that with the results show- or pressing mute!

I actually find watching her quite uncomfortable because of it. I'm itching to take a large pair of scissors to it!

I find it hard to conceive as to how Film 2010 could be dumber than it was under Jonathan Ross.

Claudia presents the Friday night arts show on Radio 2, which is far more high-brow that the show her predecessor as host of Film 2010 used to present on a Friday night, to to call her move to Film 2010 to be dumbing down in the slightest is ridiculous, let alone dumbing down of the worst kind.

I love her. I met her years ago on Liquid News (I was there chaperoning a music act) and she complimented me on my coat, then mentioned it on air! I told her she is one of the best things on telly (even back then) and she blushed. I want her to have my babies.

Cast your minds back to the week of Strictly last year where Tess and Claudia presented - it was so much more professional.

If she is as off her head as she is on ITT then she'll be great. If she turns into a "normal" presenter like Tess then it'll be all very boring and rather a shame.

If I put IMO I am assuming I will be allowed to make the statement if I want to!

It is just MO and really people with watch or not watch Film 2010 if they want to!

I love Claudia. ITT is an essential part of Strictly as far as I'm concerned, and so is she. I prefer her to Tess. I think the Len's Masterclass part of ITT is hilarious.

I really like ITT but can't stand Mrs Winkle, she is a proper giddy kipper, still this year I have got sky+ so I can skip her inane input.

I like her - she's comes across as a slightly ditzy mate on the telly. She's mostly good on ITT (she put her foot in it with a Brian whom was upset about Ali being injured but she did acknowledge she'd put in her foot in it and apologise to him for it I can't see Brucie or Tess doing that) at establishing a rapport with contestants and dancers without making it about her - I get the impression that Bruce and Tess couldn't care less about anyone else on the show - I don't get that impression about Claudia.
