Hello all, I'm new to this forum and to the world of Humax.
In the last couple of days I've just made the leap from CRT and VCR to a new HDR-FOX T2 and Sony 40EX503. I've connected the main aerial input to the Humax and have great pictures now on the TV - including HD Freeview. But how do I get to use the TV tuner on its own? I have tried connecting the Humax aerial out to the TV, but scanning on the TV still reports "no services found". Apologies if I am missing something obvious, but I can't think what else to try. I am assuming that you can use the TV tuner with the Humax PVR even though there is only 1 aerial lead into the house,

Main ariel to Humax RF in, RF out to TV via the lead.
First of all check that the Humax is not in power saving mode when in standby , Menu, Settings Power Options I think?
the signal cannot be passed through to the TV when power saving mode is on in standby!Make sure it is set to OFF.
Put the humax into standby mode. Next to view TV via the sony's inbuilt tuner, select the input button on the sony remote, then select TV from the menu
To view the humax again select the HDMI or AV port the humax is connected to.

Not exactly the clearest description, and a note to that effect on page 6 or 8 with the connections guide would have been a help.
