IMDB lists Zoe Wanamaker as an uncredited villager in ep.2 of State of Decay.

This seems very unlikely, as she was already pretty well established and getting some fairly major roles on TV by that point.

Is someone being silly by listing her? Or can anyone here really vouch that they've spotted her? Queueing for gruel in Marta's hut, maybe? Or standing in the line-up waiting for Aukon to pick her for The Wasting?

I don't know whether she was in it or not, but I guess it's quite possible. Work is work after all and Doctor Who is the only thing listed in her filmography between 1978 and 1981 on wiki.

Surely it would have been mentioned in the production notes on the DVD release of State of Decay

I don't think it's her. She's not listed in the BBC records for walk-ons but there is a female extra in Ivo's Pie Shop who looks slightly like her (if twenty years older) - there's a clear shot of her about five minutes into episode two.
