Sony Bravia and BBC iPlayer
My Sony Bravia video menu is now showing the BBC iPlayer logo with the message that it'll be starting soon.
Anybody know when the scheduled start date is? |

Anybody know when the scheduled start date is? I asked fairly high at Sony the other week, to be told it was hoped to be in the next few weeks - actually appearing on the screen now is a good sign though. |

That's great - will it be the same interface as on their blu-ray players and offer HD programming?
Any news on whether/when the ITV player will be coming to Sony Bravias or Blu-ray players? The announcement a few weeks ago only mentioned the PS3, but I guess other Sony hardware will follow. That would only leave 4oD to complete the PSB catch-up service on Sony. And their Qriocity service looks interesting, but I don't know which models it will work with |

The BBC I Player Beta is now working.
Go into Home Move over to the left and into Network Setting. Refresh Internet Content Then go to the I player in video and it will load. Thanks to Willowherbman and Prontopro for finding this. |
