Faulty Samsung LED and Visual Service Centre
hi guys my Led has a fault in the Top right corner of the screen there is a Visible mark on the screen no bigger than My Thumb its visible when the picture moves
Samsung have Booked it in for Repair With Visual Service Centre Derby Anyone Had any dealings with Them if so what are they Like ?? |

I've never heard of them, but there's very few Samsung service places about, Samsung closed most of their service accounts.
Samsung repairs though consist solely of replacing panels, and in this case it's probably the LCD that needs changing anyway. |

funny that nigel i described it as looking like a Dirty Finger mark on the screen
also they have got to repair it in my house |

also they have got to repair it in my house Certainly the Samsung agents here collect the TV and take it away for repair. While it's not impossible to change an LCD panel in the house, it's not very convenient - in the workshop I use two adjacent benches to do them. |

hi nigel they have just left they have said the Panel is Faulty and it needs replacing ive now got to wait 3-5 working days for a new Panel
also nigel they are based on royal scot road |

I can't comment on Samsung, but for Sony if we collected the set on the Monday and ordered the panel, I would expect it to be here Wednesday - two days is pretty guaranteed (assuming the panel is in stock).

Nigel VSC phoned today and Have now got the panel and are coming Monday to Repair it 9 days it seems it will be from booking it at samsung's end to them Fitting new part

For Samsung we would normally collect the set from the customer, leaving them a loan, and deliver it to the Samsung service agent. Then do the reverse when it's ready - unfortunately we have no control over the bit in the middle

Hi Nigel They have Been Today to fix it and its Now WORSE than Before the mark i had them out for is NOW in all 4 Corners
i am NOT happy with it now 2 weeks old 2 panels |

Hi nigel the Fault is on certain Colours there are 4 black patches on screen in the Corners now
