How do I get the numbers to stay on the screen, please?
Hi all,
I bought an LG Viewty Snap at the weekend and tried to register it just now and the automated message says 'press 1 etc.' but by then there are no numbers on the screen. ![]() Where am i going wrong? (if anyone is going to tell me that what 'I've done wrong' is buy the wrong phone, don't bother, its a done deal ) Seriously, surely there must be a way of keeping the numbers, otherwise no-one would be able to use call centres - although wouldn't that be a wonderful thing.......Thanks for your time. |

Does anyone know, please? I'm getting a bit desperate here, I can't use my new phone, sob.
I'm a bit of an old fogey mobile wise and I've never had a touch screen before so I don't know what I'm doing. Could one of you 'young folk' please take pity on the 'old girl' Ta x |

You should have numbers on your screen to touch.

Touch the middle of the 3 icons at the bottom of the screen to bring up the keypad.

Thanks you two.
I can call up the keypad and dial the number for the call centre she then says "press 1" or whatever but by that time the numbers have gone and the screen is mostly blank. The number for the centre is in my directory - they put it there - so it goes to the stupid smiley face character along side it in the contacts list. I have tried 4 times now, pressing everything I can find while the message repeats itself but nothing comes up. |

Don't have this phone so can't be certain but often whatever button you would press to "wake" the phone (often the power button or the call pickup button) will bring up the on-screen keypad or at least re-enable the display in order for you to select it.

When you're on a call the phone automatically locks so that you cannot press any numbers by accident when the phone is pressed against your face.
You'll need to unlock the phone whilst you're on the call. When you're on the phone, press the button on the top of the phone - the power switch and the lock/unlock button. Once you have unlocked the phone you should see an option for the keypad. |
