Papa don't preach and Material girl are my all time favs
I love express yourself, everybody (which was one of her very first songs before she became the success she is), Hollywood, Vogue, Holiday, Borderline and Into the groove. I don't really like any of her music after the 90's. Music is an alright tune but not a fav. I think Miles away (a song i never heard until the GH came out) is such a totally underated song and deserved success but Madonna was on tour and there was no video let alone any promo. |

My absolute favourite is "Like a Prayer". I remember it coming out at the time and it really felt like the peak of her career. Fantastic era that. I adore so many other though- esp like the Ray of Light and Confessions albums (I like dancey Madonna!) |

I love Madonna, but there is not one original version of any of her songs I like much. I much prefer remixed/mashed up versions of her songs.

thanks for the posts everyone! love spreading the love
also interesting to see everyone's choices and comments too, very thorough and informative.also to the guys who said Where's The Party, it would have made an AMAZING single from True Blue! i love the remix on You Can Dance very enhanced and polished and thumpier too ![]() i want her to do another remix album, there's so many incredible dance themed songs that i was expecting one after Confessions, or after Ray Of Light and Music and after Like A Prayer and Erotica some amazing uptempo's that would have made excellent remixes! there's always the future though

Hard one. My favourite Madonna album is and always will be I think Madonna. IMO it's the first really classic record of modern dance music, representing its revolution into the form that's still prevalent today. I like all eight tracks but the ones I 'love' are Lucky Star, Borderline, I Know It, Think Of Me, Holiday, Everybody.
I like all her other material overall, but subject to that pesky law of diminishing returns... |

Frozen never fails to impress me, its such an amazing song. By far her best in my opinion.
I also really like: Vogue, Like A Prayer, Miles Away, Die Another Day. |
