Mid season cliffhanger (Possible spoilers).
Old Man 43

I see that there is an article in the Daily Star that claims that River Song is going to die in the mid season cliffhanger.

Although how that fits in with the event of Silence in the Library and Forest of the Dead is anyone’s guess.

clearly this is invented by someone who has never actually seen the show before....the factual errors in the article are more than sufficient proof that it is utter BS tbh.

Indeed, I agree. Why would a "source" just suddenly reveal the "big plot twist"

How can she die when she died in the tennent episode? Doesn't make sense.

I tried dying twice once, didn't work.
I can't see River dying. I am listening too The Big Bang now
and killed a dalek. Now that wouln't be strange unless the dalek
begs for mercy or how ever you spell it.

Since it's evidently crap it's hardly a spoiler.

Stupid article. They even got the 6/7 split the wrong way round.

Wasn't implied that the Doctor and River were married, in his future?

I don't think DW will ever go for an incest storyline, not on a prime time slot on Saturday night.

I wonder sometimes if anyone actually watches the same programme as me. The flirty banter between the Doctor and River (eg handcuffs) would suggest that she is NOT either his daughter or his granddaughter.

Well, Carole Ann Ford was definitely eying up Davison in The Five Doctors...

You have a point. I've posted before about how impossible it must be to have a "normal" family life if you're a Timelord. Grandparents end up younger than you, you could end up looking like your wife's grandson, etc.

I agree with you in human terms that would be, there is something else going on between them, and there is definitely a lot of non-family chemistry.

Maybe it's just part of normal Galifreyan life. As humans we expect our grandparents to be older than us. A Galifreyan might not have the same expectations and as such has different cultural and social understanding. Incidentally I realise that this point could be taken against my own point above, maybe in Galifreyan society, it's normal to flirt with your grandfather.

I thought in The Sun (yes we all know tabloid reputation!) that;

Spoiler
Amy was going to die? Seems highly unlikely as they're both on 3 years contracts....

Either way, I don't like mid-season breaks, grrrr.

If someone has to die, I don't think that's too far off the mark...

What I meant was that he will be next in the kill off list by the brilliant Sun!

I do hope though that doesn't happen...he is already close to becoming the next Kenny!!!!
