Completelely agree, I'm so pleased he is still part of the tardis crew. They were all fantastic, but I did like Roy a lot as well.

Strangely enough, I was thinking of you when I was watching the proms tonight. I've not watched them before, but I want to see everything.

Doctor Who at the Proms was brilliant, fantastic, wonderful. A great end to a bit of a pain of a day, for me.

The music was great, the clips were lovely, Karen, Arthur (love Rory) and of course, lovely Matt were all excellent.

Regeneration bit was fabulous.

Matt with the little boy was wonderful.

That bloke who sang Vale Decem (like steven87gill I had no idea previously that it was a bloke) was out of this world.

Loved it when at 10's regeneration they cut to a woman in the audience sobbing, as I was too at that point.

I'm running out of superlatives, but the very best bit was seeing the expression of wonder and amazement on the kid's faces.

Can't wait till the extended version on Friday.

Just brilliant.

Yeah, he came across really well. Can't believe I fell for the "sorry I can't be there" vid.

The kids faces were brilliant. Memories to last them a lifetime I reckon.

Total highlight of the show was the "this is galleyfrey and Vale Decum" segment, never thought it was a guy and seeing all the women in the crowd in tears when they showed tennant dieing.

Shows as much as teh snobs on here think the finale 25 mins of EOT was over induldgent RTD and all that are in the tiny minority, even non doctor who fans think that whole death scene was brilliant

Big V to the haters on here

p.s wish the director didnt keep panning the stage when the doctor montage was on the screens, and I was thinking perhaps they would somehow magic up a 8-9 regen scene. Kinda wish they played the final words of the doctors esp 9 during their deaths

No, I just have no interest whatsoever in anything with the word 'proms' in the title. Music is there to enhance the show. Beyond that, it's an irrelevance to me. Never did see the point of orchestral stuff.
