I downloaded that. Not played a Sims game before.

My Sim spent most of her time on the verge of starvation, but rather than being happy she could fit into a size 6, she did nothing but make a song and dance about it.

Not impressed.

Apple's 12 Days of Christmas app is in the store again this year. Free apps, tv shows and movies will be available, one per day, from the 26th.

It's usually crap but you never know

On a slightly unrelated note, there's a very good Red Cross first aid app up now as well. Handy in an emergency.

Competition always helps improve offerings though a 'you get what yo pay for' mentality may also help prices stay high.

appzapp is worth getting. it features daily updates on price reductions and apps that have become free.

i've got an app called "appsgonefree" on my phone which updates daily as well with a new batch of free apps, but it appears to have been pulled from iTunes.

Apple are running a 79p promotion on a handful of apps and games.

If there is one App you should buy from this selection, especially if you have an iPad, it's Pixelmator.

There's a slide on iTunes for 99p rentals. Lots of films comedy's and horror and action. Worth a look.

Few examples of what's 99p: The Guest, Paranormal Activity, The Sweeney, Drive..
