Strange thing happening on iPhone 4
Hi. I have had my iPhone for a couple of months now and about 90% of the time if I am in a thread on DS and press the back button to go back to the list of threads it seems to go back in time. It displays threads from a few days previous. Or if there is breaking news it reveals that too. Just now the breaking news it's telling me is that Makosi and Nadia have just been evicted and that happened on Friday. Anyone any idea why this happens.

Is this though the mobile network or wifi, maybe the content is being cached by a proxy incorrectly or correctly if DS has the cache TTLs wrong.

I have cleared the cache and deleted the history. It is over wifi. It's not a major pain. Just thought it was weird. Thanks for your replys though.

I have the same problem, except for me it's been breaking news for two weeks that Josie has walked out of the Big Brother house.
It only happens intermittently though.![]() DS is the only website I have this problem on. But as you say, not really a biggie. |

It happens to me actually but with gizmodo's mobile site. I'll read a story press back and it'll be stories from a few days previously. I thought it was Gizmodo's fault.

I too have this problem.
I cleared the cache etc, and it still happens. The way I get around it is, is not pressing the back button, but on the top of the page, where you get this Home > Forums > Internet and Technology Forums > Mobile Phones I click on the bit I want to visit and navigate from there. |
