Hi,

went to turn my Humax on last night and it wouldn't come out of standby. No even pressing the button the the front panel. I noticed there was no clock displayed! but just had the usual orange circle light and the standby icon displayed.

Had to physically power off/on device to make it work. Anybody else had a similar issue?

I'm beginning to think I should of waited before buying this box but seen as I've still got my toppy installed I should be ok.

This is just an outside chance but I recently found my set didn't wake up from standby and it was a couple of minutes before I realised I had selected TV on the remote. Make sure you have PVR selected.

Thank you for the reply but you didn't read my original post correctly. It didn't even come out of standby by pressing the button the front panel.

It happened again last night, then i realised my USB drive was still plugged in so it may be just that that's stopping it.

Yes some USB drives stop the device coming out of standby unless removed first.

No idea why.
