There are so many funny/spot on posts around on here already, that I've had a request to start up a Post of the Day thread for the new series!

So please nominate your post of the day here!

It might be a long post that you think describes a situation perfectly (and saves you typing ), or it might be a one liner that just captures the moment - you decide!

Please don't use this thread to continue discussing the subject that triggered the nominated post in the first place, as that will just bung up this thread!

Ready, steady, GO!

Is it too late to nominate one from yesterday?
This one from katie_p is a gem, A rare old rant. AND she got it typed and posted within 5 minutes. A true star.

In response to:-
What on earth are we all going to whinge about on a Sunday.......

Seriously? You can't think of anything else?

Like... the tesspit, Bruce, anything Anton says or does or dances, the band, the partnerships, schedule clashes, over-runs leading to Sky plus problems, the same couples always in the pro dances, the naff music acts, James' hair, Kristina's crotch, Vincent's luvverman routine, Natalie's competitiveness, the axed pros, the new pros, the dance troupe, the judges marking, Alesha's grammar, Alesha's clothes, Alesha's laugh, anything Bruno says, Bruno's 'girls', Len's SPORTSMEN, Karen not being a judge, Camilla not being a judge, Lilia not being a judge, anyone in the world but Alesha not being a judge...

Yeah, there's hardly anything

Can I please have a little lee way to post something that Dilly posted on twitter last night that made me laugh so loud I woke up my husband. I know it doesnt really count but it was funny.

If Paul Daniels has been signed up because he is a 'National Treasure' why couldnt he be on Antiques Roadshow instead of Strictly.

This has just made me laugh From the Non app thread.

I really unappreciate Michelle appearing on the show. It's all very well to turn up now, but where was she in 1939 when we were fighting the Hun on our own? I'll tell you where...NOWHERE!

I bet she doesn't start competing in the show until about halfway through, then at the end of it she'll claim she did it all herself, and finally they'll be endless films made about it where everybody else's role has been diminished or airbrushed out altogether

It might sound crazy, but it's happened twice before already...

Yes, but she might bring nylons and gum to make up for it.

Sorry Paace, but HAD to quote this.
It has also been nominated for a "Pay attention at the back of the class, please" Award.
So Pamela Anderson is taking part in SCD even though she has already taking part in DWTS. How can this be fair on the other celebs after all the training she will have received for DWTS.

Although I will enjoy seeing her it shows that the producers now in charge of SCD seem to have abandoned the competition element of SCD when you also see the inclusion of Michelle Williams who has had a leading part in Chicago.

I saw that one last night and it made me LOL. It was written with such indignation!

Sorry Paace.

Quite like this one from yesterday in response to the query Will Alesha Speak Proper This Time?

Don't know about will Alesha speak properly this time you will not be able to hear her because she is so far up her own backside these days all you will hear is just a mumble coming from the back of the judges chairs this year.

[Before you ask, yes the original poster was being ironic with the grammar and no, subsequent posters didn't get it and banged on about how ironic it was to have grammatical errors in a post about speaking properly blah blah blah.[

Hear, hear!

My offering today from the new Norty Step thread -

... I am a total numpy when it comes to baking. When eldest daughter was in P1 I had to provide cakes for the summer fete. She told her teacher that mummy was doing her speciality ..... chocolate nipples. (Marshmallows with a smartie on the top)
That teacher always gave me an odd look after that

Another cracker from the NAT thread about Mr Daniels

His Unmissable Blog says that his agent told him he was doing SCD (much against his will, of course).

So I take it his agent wants him dead as well.

Maybe the agent is having a secret fling with Debbie and they are going to run off to the Bahamas with all the money and live happily ever after?

To add to Sazzleperkins (who also deserves credit for the amount this exchange made me laugh):

It's going to run and run!
He should get to the STI clinic if it does!

Bit late, but worth waiting for...

..If Patsy can dance....who can beat her ?
I'm counting on Patsy to get married and then divorced both before the end of the season, don't know about anyone else.
