From the results show discussion thread:

That was a grotesque Frankenstein's monster of a show. Horrid.

From the Claudia Shouldn't Have Bothered thread (post from Lynxmale) regarding Tess's refusal to 'Keep Dancing' with Claudia.

Um, Tess doesn't do spontaneous. Can't you see the traces of chalk drawn where she's supposed to stand?
Awesome.

And so next week we have the roomba and the quickstep. What fresh hell will we have inflicted on us?
Ann will roomba in sparkly winceyette, clutching a hot water bottle to Brahms lullaby.

Lovely one from Moany Liza (one of my favourite usernames!) explaining why Claudia wasn't dressed up to the nines like Tess...
She looked as if she'd jumped in a taxi and come straight from feeding scrambled egg and fish fingers to her kids and grabbed the first thing from the top of the ironing basket as she dashed out of the front door.

Two great convos discussing Robbie Williams

For some reason he kept reminding me of Norman Wisdom............
As in - died last week!

And this one
Well, from seeing that 'performance' it's pretty obvious Robbie can't sing and leer at women at the same time!

Thank goodness for the security of the track playing for him, because the minute the female pros came on, he forgot why he was there!
Men have never been any good at multitasking.
Question: Am I the only one on this thread? *echo*

Loved these posts. Thought the same thing myself. Felt that Robbie rather lost the plot when the girls appeared.

I don't think he had the plot to begin with. If only the judges were able to mark his performance.....

They would've commended him on coming aht and performing. It wasn't great but he entertained.

Then they would overmark him.

On tonight's ITT:

James looked like a barman at a hen do who's been asked for a "slow comfortable screw" for the bazillionth time
It's funny cos it's true

From ITT thread posted by Rossyrahrah

I can't believe Craig thought that salsa was butch, I thought it was mincier than sparkly shepherds pie

So proud *sniff*

From the 'Himbo Henson's bound to get the Welsh vote' thread

On Saturday he proved that he has the personality of rising damp and subsidence. Or was that how I felt watching him dance? Either way, the I'm so shy but I love myself routine is making me want to borrow Hammy's trebuchet...

Another vote for a rossyrahrah post:
The problem with letting "the public" decide is that some of them are really f*cking stupid.

This one from the ITT thread, on Pamela's stumble and recovery.

It was all the feathers and frills, I think

I half expected her to shriek ''Kermie!!!'' as she went hurtling off in the wrong direction.

Excuse me quoting my comment about not considering that posters have lives outside DS

Kittles only exists as long as she is posting on here.
Otherwise she is nothing more than an idle keyboard.
But it promoted this reply which I nominate for Post of the Day
She's a Schroedinger's Kittles?

Here's a couple for POTD from the Alesha's bad grammar thread which has resulted in a wide ranging discussion about pronounciation of Coke and Coke (one being a fizzy drink and the other being the white (allegedly) powder)..

Not relevant, but similar to "coke" and "coke" in Hull.

"Coke" with an "err" sound in the middle is a well known fizzy drink.

"Coke" with an "oh" sound is more powdery - allegedly!

My "home county" vowels got me into a bit of bother over that once in a pub!
I am baffled and desperately trying to see how to put an "err" into "coke".

Coherrke?

No, that doesn't seem to cut it somehow.

POTD from the "ann should step down" thread in response to:
None of the celebs are going to be forced to wear anything they don't want to. Anne's just more vocal about it, and in all honesty, she'd look ridiculous dressing like Ola.
This from memmh:

The mind boggles!

*grabs some brain bleach*

Posted by shuddupfluffy on the Peter Andre 'singe' thread..

Peter Andre 'singe' debut on Strictly!

Excellent! The BBC are burning him!

Obviously Robbie's 'performance' has put them off and they are resorting to the elimination of disliked public figures!

Roll up! Roll Up! Nominations please for future burnings!
Excellent.
