John mum said he always wanted to go into the police force but was too short when he left school, I am also almost sure that she said that he was looking into it before applying to BB as he was tall enough now 6ft.

It maybe something he may look into if they stay here as he won't have a problem being a British Citizen. I can't see him going back into retail it sounded like it was something to do and he was bored with it. Josie will get him on track she won't let him just lay about neither will his mum she had already told him that he had to start living again not just shutting himself away for the past two years.

With Josie help John is for the first time talking about his dad's death and how it affected him. John himself said he just had to lock it all away as he had to be there for his mum. Alot of his aggression/arguments are built up feelings which he needs to work through and just talk. Not being able to talk about being one of the first on the scene of his father's accident while working on the same site just 200 yards away and not being aware of what had happened. He saw his dad and best friend next to each other, one dying/dead and the other unscathed. He may have even had to help try to get to them as the building collapsed on them. Anyone would find that hard let alone when it's your parent and best mate.

I work covering the area of London and parts of North London is very nice its where a lots of tv people live esp Eastenders peeps.

If I do go very quiet for long spells its not just because Im too out of puff to speak, its because Im way back there < - - - somewhere frantically reading and not wanting to miss out any of your wonderful posts, clips, pictures news and updates.

Given his money and the money they can earn over the next few months if they are sensible then it will mean that they won't have to worry too much about money and can pick jobs/careers that they enjoy.

I can see john working with kids in some capacity - be it sport or something else. He understands the difficult ones - he was fabulous with Sammy and just "got him" straight away. (not saying Sammy is a kid but he is difficult ). Re josie i could see her doing beauty therapy or hairdressing or something and having her own shop. She is a natural people person.

I was thinking that the other day! He's make a great lawyer, the reading is annoying!

He knows he's been drifting and it was for an undebatable reason. Now he has to make a decision and he has the right person with him to help him with that. He doesn't seem the type to just jump into something because it's work. He'll mull over his choices before settling into whatever it is he's meant for.

I like to imagine them eventually back in Bristol, living in her shed, she's found her dream job (possibly to do with children) and he goes back to welding. That could be mostly because I like imagining him in the work gloves all sweaty. Oops, did I write that last bit down?
