Now it maybe just me, but i'm glad I've got the last version, this seems way too small and has touch technology that will smear the tiny screen, I imagine watching video on it is going to be hard ? Opinions to change my mind ?

The new iPod Nano has dropped the facility to play video.

In that case it is a step backwards IMO.

My daughter agrees. She's more then happy with the previous Nano which could play videos, had a camera and could even play the old click wheel style games. Looks like we're skipping this version.

Its taken on a different niche, it doesn't pretend you want to watch video on a tiny tiny screen, its for people who already have other devices for such purposes, so many people already have smart phones and such that redundant devices trying to do everything are not necessary. So it does what it does well, music, and does it in the smallest form factor it can. Thats perfectly rational. The touch and iphone do all the rest better, theres no point trying to include everything on a tiny nano.

They've made it too much like the Shuffle IMO.
