I doubt he does .He needs to be out early and playing rugby

I think Kara Tointon will do well.

I think the BBC would probably like a female winner this year. Gavin will be competitive as he is a sportsman, but I get the feeling he might not be very good.....no proof.......just a feeling. The forum is going to go into meltdown tomorrow after their first group dance with 'signs of good or badness'

He may last 4-5 weeks if he is lucky

I think half the reason Rav Wilding went out so early last year was because he had a dud pro partner who was more interested in herself than her Celeb.

Rav was as rhythmic as a plank of wood, so I hardly think it was entirely Aliona's fault!!! She did her best, it couldn't have been easy for her adjusting to new country and new show while having to work around a celeb who was still working long hours during training. And that's a very narrow-minded assessment of Aliona, have you anything to back that up, because none of the footage from last year, and certainly not any of Rav's dances, suggested she was showcasing herself alone.

We all have our own views and opinions of both pro and celeb's, yours and mine happen to differ, doesn't mean either one is right or wrong. When you take into account tho, that the judges even criticised Aliona's coreography(sp) then that tells its own tale i think.

You're nearly there! It is "choreography"!

It really depends if he gets on the stage in time - he usually spends 2/3 hrs getting made up to play rugby so gawd knows how long he`ll spend in hair and makeup for the show

She certainly seemed more interested in showcasing herself rather than her partner.
I think Rav would have progresses further with Lilia or Erin.

Exactly, and Even the judges said she should have showcased her partner more with better choreography.

Yes. It will be interesting to see what she comes up with this year.
I think she would have been ideal for the Dance Troupe.

Ive got an inkling Michelle Williams might do it if she can get people to warm to her, or maybe Jimi Mistry my next guess would be Kara Tointon.

I agree, she was good at her showdances with Matt C, altho not to my taste, but i could see the "art" in them.

Aliona certainly isn't the only pro to be criticised for her choreography over the last seven series! Perhaps it's worth waiting to see what she's like with a different celebrity before writing her off completely.

Perhaps so, but if last year is anything to go by

I haven't written her off completely. I said it will be interesting to see what she comes up with this year.

The only welsh person in a reality show I will not be voting for. Really don't like him, like Charlotte but Gavin is up his own bum. He's the type if he was chocolate he would so eat himself. Wanting Ann to do really well, love her.

Hope he can't dance and won't vote for him even if he can.
Sorry - NOT!!!

I'd go for Matt. As I said on another thread, he fits the profile perfectly. The only way he won't win is by being a complete dancing numpty or he doesn't get on with his partner. We'll see but I doubt either will be the case.

Jimi could be a dark horse if he doesn't come across as irritating. Who knows about Gavin, but he could be good for the 'J' word.

The women don't really stand a chance. As series 3 onwards show, the men seem to be more popular (I'm not going over the Gethin/Alesha thing again but he was likely polling more votes than Alesha). I think it's just the make up of the watching audience and I can't see it changing. One of Tina, Kara or Patsy will become the new Ali/Lisa (good dancer but disliked by most). Michelle could be the best hope if she gets along with her partner, who, if the spoilers are to be believed, doesn't have the easiest reputation (and I like him for it )

Of course this is all just my opinion and I could be totally wrong

I can't decide whether i like Gavin or not. He looks amazing but he seems a bit of a c**k. A lot of women seem to like him though. He was voted in the top 100 sexiest men http://www.womenrepublic.co.uk/enter.../gavin_henson/. Don't think he'd be on my list.

Gavin is not universally liked in Wales - not compared to someone like Calzaghe for a pertinent example.

In terms of dance ability I think he could go either way & it will be interesting to see how well he comes across in the show - he is not that popular with some of his former team mates & is said to be a bit of a prickly charachter so we shall see.

Well he's allegedly banned from most of the clubs in central Cardiff for being known for becoming 'tired and emotional' on a rather too regular basis.

He does come across as quite considerably vain, but with the personality of a garden shed.

I have always thought he was misjudged, and still stand by that, I disliked Alex Reid (dont asky why, i shouldnt have judged) but really liked him on BB... i think the same goes for Gavin, I never really thought of him as vain, he seemed really nervous and shakey just now on the show, i somehow dont think he is as confident as he comes across.
