Gav looked terrified and there wasn't a hint of arrogance tonight. Definitely not the man the press would have us see. Of the men my heart's going for Matt, my head says Jimi but my dark horse is Goldie. If he has even an ounce of talent, Kristina will make the most of it and some. Predict Ann and Anton lasting for 4 weeks, maybe 5!

It appears he'll win on his ITV show, 71 Degrees North, but on SCD tonight it looks like he hasn't thawed out since his sojourn in Norway.

yeah he seemed very stiff and muscle bound

from the little bit we saw of the group dance tonnight I thought that Jimi, Goldie, Matt and Scott looked like they had a bit of rhythm

Matt should be good as he's done a bit of dancing before on Blue Peter and he looked pretty good

Hate to say it but Paul Daniels also looked OK .. lol

of the girls Michelle looked good as did Felicity .. I think Felicity and Vincent will make a good pairing

gav did seem really shy but once he's with his partner she'll probably mentally prepare him and help him lose his inhibitions.

gav's a sportsman so very competitive and i think come week 3 or 4 he'll get into the swing of things.

I don't think poor Gav has got a chance He seems very shy and Katya looks a bit bossy to me so I don't think she will bring the best out of him.
Did you see the way she arranged his arms rather abruptly so that she could link him to walk up to the Tess pit rather than have his hand on her back like he was intending to?
He looked a bit scared of her!

No it wasn't that he wanted to put his hand on her back , she put her arm through his and he left his arm dangle , and had no idea about how he should escort her .So she moved his arm so they would look better.
She has her work cut out; Katya is a superb choreographer and she will need all her skills . Mr Henson does not easily take telling .

Poor Gav ? that's why he is doing these reality shows , he must surely need to pay the bills now after 18months unpaid leave from Ospreys and now he doesn't have Charlotte to sub him .

I fear the worst, being Welsh I have supported welsh contestants ( frowned upon I know but I can't help it) I was on a good thing for a while with Colin and Gethin but I think this year however I feel a repeat of last year coming!! I hope with Katya's help he can learn to let himself go but seeing him last night he just looked terrified!! Being an eternal optimist I am going to convince myself that in three weeks Katya is going to turn him into Colin!!

Come on Gavin prove us all wrong!!
