No no no

He's our baby, he still needs to be neutered and micro chipped and we live on very busy road.

So not sure what we're going to do it yet.
I know the feeling..mine spend hours looking out of the windows..But they are so young and a bit daft tbh..I'm putting it off for a bit yet!

This afternoon, on the window although he nearly fell off!

I love him. How cute is he!!!! My cats are indoor cats cos, like you, I live on a very busy road. They really don't seem bothered about not going out. I know some people say cats should be outdoors, but I'd rather not risk it as we have cars, buses and great big lorries. I know of people on here who have built cat runs in their garden, so the cat can go out to play but not get out of the garden, which I think is a brilliant idea. Unfortunately I live in a Victorian terrace and to get to my garden you go into a shared yard, across an alley, past the sheds, through a gate and then into my garden, so that doesn't work for me, but maybe it would for you and Simba.

If you keep him indoors he should be okay if he has loads of toys and stimulation.

@guernseysnail, I love how they lay on their backs like that, so elegant!

All the cats are gorgeous and all growing so quickly. Ruby, Eric, Archie and Simba - how time flies because it doesn't seem very long since they were all tiny kittens.

I understand about keeping cats indoors if you live on busy roads (fortunately, I don't) but they need lots of exercise and stimulation and Simba would benefit from having another cat to play chase games with.

Archie, facially, looks like my Millie (to me anyway).

I never really got any good photos of my late Tabitha - she used to look very disdainfully at the camera - but I was looking through some last night, it's not as painful now.

Visitors say Millie looks like Tabitha but they're nothing alike really.

My road sound like yours, more lorries than anything else as there's an industrial estate at the end of our road.

We have a fairly large back garden which backs onto a park, which leads back onto the road.

We may get a harness for him, hopefully a win win situation.

And thanks for the compliments, he really is adorable.

Great pics

Our next door neighbour has always had cats, he had 4, he's down to 2 now as 1 was killed outside his house by a vehicle, he was understandably devastated, 1 disappeared so he's left with 2. He advised not to let our cat out but he lets his cats out. He does shift work.

As much I love Simba, for us, one works at the moment.

You're right, there is a similarity. Tabitha was a beauty too, I love tabbies, they all have such lovely faces with those markings of theirs.

It's always worth having the camera handy when you have a kitten. Some of the things they do are mad.

WTF!?

That is just the most adorable video Floyd is an amazingly tolerant and gentle dog, I loved it when he started rolling on his back too - and when Jimi started doing his kitten side jumping on the sofa. Little kittens really are just so cute, it takes me back to when my Tabitha was little

I hope this relationship continues to blossom. I wonder if Jimi sees Floyd as another cat?

oh I know he does, he keeps trying to suckle from him, a sign he was weaned to soon I think, we had another cat that used to try to suckle from ME when he was kitten, but they grow out of it,
Missed a great photo today, they were both asleep next to each other and Floyd had his paw over the kitten as though he was giving him a cuddle, but when I tried to reach the camera they both moved,

OK even MORE pics of our new kitten Jimi, and our dog Floyd, and how well they are getting on together, they are already great pals after only 3 weeks, the kitten constantly pounces on the poor dog, and Floyd never complains, he just puts up with it, he really is a dog in a million,

Looking good, the black one reminds me of our Charles, or Charlie to his friends, who we lost in May when he was hit by a car,

Roughly six months, I got him from a cat rescue a few weeks ago. He's adorable and such a playful little bugger
