I could care less about her grammar. It's her lack of professional dance experience that makes me dislike having her as a judge. I don't find her comments particularly useful, and she doesn't have the same authority that Arlene or the others do. If Arlene criticised someone's hands, I'd automatically assume she knew what she was talking about. If Alesha did the same, I'd be more doubtful.
Having seen some of the pros last year disagree with her comments definitely didn't help me accept her opinions either. I think Erin, in particular, never looked too impressed when she criticised Ricky.”
I never took anything Arlene had to say seriously either. I suppose that's why I didn't see the big deal with the switch. She generally talked absolute rubbish week in, week out. When the professionals disagreed with Arlene (or for that matter, any of the judges) I would take their word for it because they are currently ballroom and latin dancers. Len may have more experience but it certainly doesn't come into play when he's on Strictly, he's never truthful. If the rest are mean, he's nice (even if the dance was atrocious), if they're nice, he's too critical. Craig is the only judge whose opinion I've ever taken seriously but once again, if the pros disagree at large, I'm far more likely to listen to them. So really, your point about Alesha means very little to me in regards to judging dance talent.
And I'm genuinely not trying to be bitchy but this drives me insane when I see it written down - it's
I couldn't care less because you care the least amount it's possible to care, not
I could care less because then, you care more than the least amount.
