Get new phone now or wait til Windows 7?

My budget will probably be at a real stretch £150. My current phone is a LG viewty, but I scratched the screen (still works) but the cancel button doesn't work anymore (irritating) and when charging it maxes some funny noise. It all still works though and I really don't want to rush buy a phone only to find windows 7 phones are amazing etc.

What do you suggest?

Even though I even like Windows 6.5 I'd go for an Android phone.

You will prob get more for your money as well.

I don't think you be able to get a win 7 phone for £150 anytime soon, unless you are on contract.

I have read a few things that say that Windows 7 will be a flop, but I for one am quite looking forward to seeing it for myself.

I agree with what's been said above, though: it is likely that Windows 7 will be on expensive pay as you go phones, and also on quite expensive contract tariffs too.

Ah ok. I really have been trying hard to look for a phone but I always read reviews about one being very bad etc. The problem is I don't know which site to trust with reviews.

I was thinking of maybe getting a Nokia C5

You can currently grab the LG GT540 Optimus(I assume it is also unlocked being CPW) for £99.99.

It even has a GPS and may well be this price only prior to an Android update.
Anyway Android 1.6 is quite OK on a budget. And you may be on a long wait to find better at that price.
