Yes, I said that in my earlier post, I was gobsmacked as well, you just automatically would think that but I think Vale Decem is my favourite piece of Doctor Who music ever and it seemed so right for a regeneration sequence.....I even have it on my Ipod I love it so much!!!!!!

I watched it the other night and I agree. Some of the pieces seemed really disjointed and all over the place. I was a bit bored, to be honest, and I thought Karen was really stilted with the (I assume) autocue. Still, it was nice to see the monsters and kids enjoying themselves!

Definitely agree that Jupiter is the better piece from Planet Suite. It would also have given a better mix of styles to the non Who bits. It was as though they were content with just pinning the kids to the back of their chairs with their magnificent parping.

Karen was ok - is she the nervous type? I will guess her background is not live theatre! Matt is clearly in his element with an audience.
