Becki has just told Nadia in the hut that she knows her secret. She did it in a kind way saying that Nadia didn't have to say anything, she just wanted to let Nadia know. She said that as far as she was concerned you are who you are, and if you have to change your physical body to fit who you are, then it doesn't matter cos you are still who you are. She said that BB had told her she could tell Nadia that she knew and it is the only secret she was allowed to talk about.

Nadia seemed happy and relieved, but when she sat by herself, it looked like she was mulling things over in her mind.

I think Marco and Dan have obviously guessed and Vic and Jason often have conversations about her and have mused about the fact . I think it would be better if she came clean about it as the longer it goes on the more people are going to dislike her for deceiving them.

How very considerate of Becki to broach such a sensitive subject so discreetly and reassuringly with Nadia. But I'm confused. Why would someone so apparently mature want to be on BB at all, and especially after seeing who else was on it!?

It's not just a case of coming clean. It's swallowing hard and taking her courage in both hands. I kinda wish she would bring it out in the open - it would be a five minute wonder and let the hms talk about it with her - or not. She, at least, would let them know by her demeanour whether or not it was up for further discussion. She has already said about other topics that she'd prefer not to discuss them. It's her prerogative.

To promote herself to music industry..she has done a few bits but has no contract and has done a bit of west end..needs some exposure in a tough tough industry.TV is the most obvious way to get noticed.They are all there for some motive over and above the diminshing prize money. Marco , Nadia and Michelle have reached the stage in thier friendship where they are comfortable enough to do the bitchy banter thing . If you listen carefully Marco and Nadia in particular base thier friendship round this. Once Michelle was back a couple of days she started joining in too.
And more recently Dan has felt comfortable enough to join in too.

The jibes to each other are hilarious but outsiders would interpret as cruel.
I dont know if its a girly thing but my best friend and i often call each other "bitch or "slapper" and believe me a lot worse! it always ends up in howls of laughter thinking who can come up with the best insult.

Anyway i truly believe that if Michelle and Marco knew how "close they were to the bone" they would feel terrible.

Nadia did the routine response to the banter though and laughed , even added to it by joining in with the bits being pickled joke.

Obviously a ploy to not get nominated. Maybe she won't be last in,first out after all, if she keeps this up.

From what I've read, it's almost impossible NOT to tell Endemol everything. Last year they were interviewed by a psychologist who even asked them if they'd ever had anal sex.

I'm always trading jibes with my brother and sisters, sometimes the banter may seem positively toxic to outsiders but this is just how we are comfortable talking and having a laugh with each other. I guess what I'm really saying is that we tend to project what we ourselves find acceptable onto others without stopping to think that to them it may be perfectly normal.

The great thing about being at the stage that Nadia, Marco and michelle are at in their relationship is that as well as being able rip shreds off each other in a humourous way they would also defend each other to the hilt. I honestly think that certainly Nadia and Marco have built a friendship that will last.

If strong suspicions were voiced in the house about Nadia don't you think some people at Channel 4 would have had suspicions as well? Attempting to hide it would have got Nadia nowhere. Also I remember earlier on in the house on the sofa when Nadia and several others sat together, Stuart Marco and Daniel talking in great detail on s*x operations. Nadia looked extremely uncomfortable as Daniel with great glee went into elaborate detail. On the highlights it showed Nadia weeping in the toilet immediately afterwards, whether this was connected to the conversation or the lack of cigarettes at the time wasn't obvious, but the editing made it's own suggestion.

Becki is in a position were she can't really stop them nominating her the first week she is up. Of course you know the housemates will be nice to her face (probably), but they will bitch away from her. Of course they will see her as a threat to winning. They may feel aggrieved she has been in effect exempt from nominations for the first 5 weeks (or whatever it is). This is fortunate for Michelle who had one week free from nominations and this will help take the limelight off her. But the house was stagnating, with arguably only two women left it needed another (reminiscent of last year). It Becki can win the first time she is up, she may stand a chance of surviving and building a fan base. In the meantime her best hope is partly to help build that support by getting on well with everyone for future nominations (if she more than one potential future nomination), but mainly to get on with those she considers the most popular on the outside - so that those fans don't vote against her on next weeks eviction. It's a tall order but it's about all she can do to keep in.

I think you may be simplifying the reasons why it's unacceptable to question Nadia's status as a woman a tad. Still, some people will never be happy unless they are doggedly holding onto old fashioned ideas about sexuality, gender and morals, I suppose.
