Arrgh! Tottenhams Champions League game on Sky sports 4
OMG.
I this is well out of order. Are they taking the piss or what? (Man U v Rangers on SS2 by the way). I could understand this happening IF there were live premium sport content on SS1, but their showing NO live sport on SS1 at all during the match, only soccer special. Offcom ruled Sky MUST show premium content on either SS1 or 2. I want to make a complaint, but I get the feeling if I ring BT to do so, they will only refer me to the content provider, Sky. And they just won't listen as I not a direct Sky customer. |

Sky have always shown one of the Champions League games on SS4, (or Xtra as it was known).

Mas, complain to OFCOM. BTW I think they will need to be abit more sympathetic to other types of media from what I was hearing down the PUB.

Sky are being 100% consistent - they have always shown their 1st pick CL game on SS2 and their 2nd pick CL game on SS4 (formerly SSX). OFCOM will only consider intervening further if Sky start MOVING important content away from SS1 or SS2. As Sky are being 100% consistent there is no chance AT ALL of OFCOM intervening. |

I struggle to take seriously any post that starts "OMG".
And it seems in this case, my decision was justified. As has been pointed out, Sky have always shown their secondary Champions League game on SS4 (or Xtra). Ofcom were fully aware of this when they made their ruling, but made no mention of it. |

Agree this is what Sky normally do.
Now this isnt a short term solution but could work out in the long run, if you complain to BT about SS3/4 content they have a feedback tool that they are collecting to present to OFCOM in regards to getting these channels on wholesale. If a customer either complains about the content or chooses not to take Vision because of SS3/4 they can add it to the 'petition' if you may. |
