9200 Front Panel Display

With the absence of description for front panel display in the instruction booklet of 9200, I am querying the small clock icon at the upper right of the time display. What is it's function, should it always be displayed when any recording from EPG is scheduled.? I have noticed it disappears after one recording from EPG has been made, in spite of other
future EPG recordings listed. I am concerned that this could be a machine fault as I have just had to return a 9200 to Humax under Warranty because of the v23 update screwing up the machine. After this update it would only record one programme of many selected. Any information would be appreciated.

It is supposed to be on all the time that there is a reservation scheduled (and the unit is in standby and not actually recording), which will be pretty much all the time under normal usage. It, and the REC flag on the left hand side, are, however unreliable and have been under all software versions in different ways.

I think the clock symbol is a survival of the similar feature required by VCRs (and DVDRs) where it tells you that the unit is loaded and ready to record. I don't see the point in a DVR.
