I read that the police told BB to tone down the 'evil' side. This was after 'Day 20' otherwise known as Fight Night.

Must admit that is the rumour I read from various sources that the old Bill were keeping an eye on them. I had thought they might have given up by now, but obviously not. Similarly with the lack of alcohol, apparently the police were not happy with the amount of alcohol that was being consumed and €ndemol allegedly did sack someone for this, so it is a fair estimation that we can blame the local plod for the lack of excitement.

I wonder does this mean they have had to tone down the whole series because of 'fight night', that might have caused them problems.

the police may have suggested toning it down but i wouldnt have thought they could enforce it..same with the alchol.if the show breeched any of the guidelines i also feel sure the show would have been halted.has anyone aproached ch4 or endemol about this..if so what was their response?

I guess this is what all the OFCOM complainees wanted....another mind-numbingly dull BB.

Shame it was oozing potential, I was really enjoying it. The fight was probably one of the most exciting moments in BB history for me.

If the police spent more time catching real criminals rather than trying to socially engineer a bunch of wannabees on a reality TV show, we might all be better off.

Yeah the thirty people who squealed to OFCOM make the six million of us suffer. Democracy sucks

Sorry, I don't buy the police story. Possession and consumption of alcohol is not illegal for any of the housemates and whilst the Old Bill may have given advice, it's up to BB to interpret that. It seems to me that the producers have given everything a rest for a week to allow everyone to recover, but that things will start to crank up again (slowly) as the series moves on.

I'm no psychologist but if you look at the way there has been the development of (albeit grudging) respect for each other, and the fact that they did all talk through their issues I think that it is unlikely that a huge stand off would happen again.

Just my tuppence worth!

BB3 was more evil - with the rich house, poor house thing - lack of food etc. They need to be deprived of things - food, fags, sleep, anything !!!!!!!!........ohhhhhh I'm evil !!

Slight problem there as since BB3 our illustrious leaders have signed the Human Rights thingy (I think). Anyway as a result in the last few years every Tom, Dick and Harry has been suing anyone with a six figure or more bank account for 'breaches of human rights' and so denying anyone anything could be construed as a breach of human rights. I KNOW ITS B****Y SILLY but that is what is happening in all sorts of strange ways and €ndemol do not want to lose any of their vast profits by fighting and losing a stupid court case that the likes of Nadia brings cos she ain't got any fags. There would be a case for constant alcohol if any of the HMs had an alcohol dependency. B****y stupid I know but the best way of getting booze in the house would be to have a 'registered alcoholic'. Of course they would have to be going through pre treatment process.

I was only being extreme to over emphasise my point.
