I've liked some of the singers that's been in the video packages, but none really that have had the 10 minute auditions.

Think the really good ones have barely been shown ;-(

They spent too long on some people and not enough time on some really good singers!

It's so obvious that this year they want someone who is a bit quirky to win. All the ones that have been featured are sorta different and quirky. But none of them really a standout act. None with a really great voice.

Such as Cher, Katie, Nicolo...

Last year it was obvious they wanted a Male winner. They hyped up and showed a lot of Danyl, Olly and Jamie Afro...

I don't think Nicolo is likeable enough to win and Katie got 30 seconds, not 10 minutes.

I do agree, though, that they spend far too much time on one or two acts per episode and rush through a lot of great acts that we see for all of 10 seconds.

I was thinking earlier that very few young male singers seem to have been shown this year, or else they're so forgettable that I've forgotten about them already.

Tonight there was Paije and Tom, but apart from Liam Payne I can't even recall another young male being featured heavily this year. There seems to be more female singers I think.

Katie Waissel

A lot will hate her and she's not the best singer. But she definitely has something special. A sort of brazen Madonna/Gagaesque quality...

Katie Waissel - not the greatest singer but there is something I like about her.

I'm watching exclusively the one's they've put on Youtube.

Stand-outs: Cher Lloyd, Paije, Nicolo and The Reason.

I remember TreyC from last year and she was fantastic.

I like Mary, Paije and the guy on Xtra Factor tonight with the hugh glasses who I thought was gonna be shite. I don't think he will win (or even make the live shows) but there's something very likeable about him.

The ones who look likely to get through to the main shows based on what's been on so far look to be Mary, Paije, nicolo, tracey, the annoying madonna girl. There's probably a couple of others I've forgotten.

Boys: Who Cares
Groups: Uninterested
Girls: ALL OF THEM
Overs: Meh.

Girls are all that matters this year ^^

Forgotten any groups that have gone through? No I lie, seems the comedy acts are popular, but alas no X factor quality in any of them (so far).
Girls? Again don't have any favourites. Can see they're pushing Cher, Madonna girl etc and agree with the thoughts on the focus being on quirky
Now as for boys, the only one I like is Liam and he definately tops my list so far.
Over 25s.... er ..... are there any? Oh of course Mary 'i've already won a major TV show and record contract before' Bryan. Dress her as Lady GaGa and you'll have what XF considers their winner.

Bit of a pants year me thinks.
