I liked the look of Michelle and Brendan as a couple - he's not my favourite pro, but they do make a handsome pair and I get the impression she will work hard for him and he'll be pleased!

I think they are very well suited. Both seem driven and Michelle seems to have plenty of personality to inject into her dancing.

Brendan did look pretty pleased with himself, I think they'll produce some great dances, but it'll be interesting to see if Michelle will be able to win over the public. I expect there will be a bit of backlash regarding her previous dancing experience, and she may find it hard in the first couple of weeks because despite being in Destiny's Child she won't have as much of a ready made fanbase with the strictly audience.

I agree Sid- it will be interesting to watch as there is much assumption that Kara has it in the bag!
Maybe some of the other more unlikely couples will be the ones to watch this year. I have to say that I liked all of them- which is a real first (Ola is going to save Paul for a lot of people as she seemed to bring out the best in him- way OT there!)
I think there are going to be fireworks! I reckon there will be lots of fights cuz michelle doesn't seam like she will take any BS! They are an interesting couple and very entertaining and that's why the producers wanted them together.

Totally agree Maz. I thought she was really entertaining tonight (I mean in what she was saying, rather than her dancing - though I think she will be great at that). Just hope the public don't treat her like Gabby Logan, as I really want to watch those two dancing!
Yes - saw some people saying before the show tonight that she appeared to be quiet & boring. She certainly didn't come across that way on the show. I am liking her & she is my favourite along with Kara at the moment but that could all change after they have danced properly.
They are a dream team. Brendan looked very happy with the choice but I think Michelle is going to be a no nonsense tough cookie so there may well be fireworks. I am liking this coupling and I think even though I want another couple to well I think this is the pairing to beat.

Yes, that was my highlight of the episode.
