I think Jimi will be good, she deserves a decent one after the duffers she's had the last couple of times.

Poor Ola though

They look good together visually and Jimi seems like someone who is easy to get along with so I hope they click on a personal level because that's so important for any successfull partnership.

And he's hinted that he can move, which is always a bonus!

Would love Flavia to win this year and they seem a good partnership. With so much going on in the group dance he didn't catch my eye, but have recorded the show and will watch the group dance again to see how he moves.

I'm looking forward to seeing these two dance.

Yup. Moving definitely helps!!!

I think that this could be a good pairing and I'm really looking forward to seeing them dance together.

I would love to see Flavia win. She is a star and hopefully Jimi will be a good dancer. *Fingers crossed*

I have high hopes for this partnership, it is really important to me that Jimi stays on my tv for as many Saturday nights as possible.

I didn't think he was that great in the group dance, but he certainly wasn't terrible, unlike some others!! He clearly has a sense of rhythm and I'm sure Flavia can work to great things from that! It's lovely to see her have a potential contender again

I hope he improves from the group dance, because I want to see Flavia all the way to the finals.

I think they'll be good together too. From their tweets tonight, training seemed to have gone well although poor Jimi was a bit knackered....he still loved it though which is promising....

“wow what a day! @FlaviaCacace worked me to the bone..everything aches gonna have a radox bath and fall asleep on the sofa(probably).loved it”

And Flav seemed to think he was pretty good...

It's nice that he and the other contestants are following each other and that a couple of the female pros have left Tweets for Jimi

That is a great plus in his favour. You can teach the steps till the cows come home but unless you can dance to the beat of the music you are snookered.

So I am hopeful he will be good....for the lovely Flavia's sake if nothing else. She was so gracious about Craig last year

Jimi could turn into that rare thing - a man who can do a Rumba.

Mind you, I thought Austin with his self confidence would, but he seemed as lost as Ramps.

The mens battle may be between Jimi who seems to love dancing, and Matt, who seems to love a challenge.
I think Jimi will have a better feel for the dance, but Matt is very fit and learns fast.

Wasnt Matt a top Gymnast though? he should have some moves that may surprise!

I watched the BluePeter Youtube video, where he learned to Paso and Cha Cha, and he will dance well. He reminded me of Matt Dawson, whereas I see Jimi as more like Mark Ramprakash, based on a minute amount of dancing (so that may well be a load of b*******ks).

I think Flavia is in with a very good shot with Jimi this year, he can move, as a DJ I'm presuming he understands music beats and rhythms etc, and he's not exactly hard on the eye

Looking at his tweets I have high hopes of a good old bromance between him and Goldie this year

I am thrilled Flavia has such a fine specimen to work with this year!

Been a fan of Jim Mistry's since East is East, some ten years back now.
He's a very expressive man and so watchable on screen.
We could be seeing some real magic from these two, if he shakes it about in the right places

Why does Flavia deserve a good partner? Why do any of the pros?

I never get why people think certain pros deserve good partners, they are there to teach a celebrity how to dance from scratch.I understand they may like to win or get to the final, but it's hardly the world championships.

Because some of us would like to see them have a chance to show the most spectacular of their choreography skills, which is impossible with a partner of more limited ability.

And the pros do want to win the show, and having a partner with some dance potential makes that easier. Ola's proven it's not absolutely necessary to have someone who has bucketloads of natural ability, but it undoubtedly helps.

But far more watched and far higher profile among us plebs I imagine
I love it when the pros get a decent partner so we can see a wonderful dance and a show to enjoy .
