A sparkly one, to show of her figure as she dangles from Antons neck

I am talking myself into voting for by the minute

It's too early to say, of course, but that won't stop us speculating.

I think Matt or Jimi will win
I think Michelle ought to win (but won't because the GBP won't warm to her)
I would like Felicity, Jimi or Tina to win

Under no circumstances should Widdy win. I don't mind Strictly being a light entertainment show and not a dance competition, but I don't find the woman in the least bit entertaining.

PS - I reserve the right to change my mind as I get to 'know' the contestants and once I've seen them dancing. Got to factor in the 'j' word, after all.

I think Matt will win

Who I want to win? Well it's too early really as we haven't even seen them dance yet, but on early impressions, Michelle, Tina or Patsy. These are subject to change of course after the show proper starts.

I think Matt, Jimi or Kara will win.

I would like Kara, Jimi or Tina to win.

Can we have this question again once we've seen them dance properly?

Really? I thought she was far more entertaining than I expected and seemed a bit of a heart-winner

Anyway, to the serious stuff...

*I think Jimi will win (which is fine by me)

*I would love Pamela to win (she looks a giggle on the floor)

*Under no circumstances should Gavin Henson even be allowed to complete his first dance, let alone get near the glitterball

Whilst i hope he goes far (he wuz robbed in Maestro) I fear that Goldie will do a Spoony and leave early despite showing promise and dedication. Like Spoony his fanbase doesn't neccessarily watch SCD so he's starting from scratch (although he may have picked up a following with his Maestro appearance).

I also think Michelle will leave early thanks to the public's dislike of foreigners in general and Americans in particular (see Martina Hingis).

Probably Jimi/Flavia will edge it because he's passable and she's very popular with the viewers but has never won it.

I think either Jimi or Kara will win

I would like Felicity or Pamela to win (they look as if they are really going to enjoy themselves)

At the moment, would probably say I don't want Ann or Gavin to win, but let's see how things go!

Think Goldie will win.

Would love Paul to get through several weeks at least.

Think: Kara or Matt
Want: Jimi, Tina and Matt

I don't have anyone that I don't want to win as they haven't started competing yet.

Opinion about Michelle based on PPP (Previous Public Prejudice). Michelle is foreign, an experienced dancer (Roxie in Chicago) and a woman. Above all, the GBP loves an underdog, preferably a British man who's a bit crap to begin with, but develops a love of dance over the course of the series (think Darren Gough and Chris Hollins). I loved her attitude on Saturday and, yes, she could do well, but at the back of my mind is the fact that there's no dance-off this season, so if she does prove unpopular, for whatever reason, there's no safety net.

For me, will and want are the same - Jimi / Flavia. They seemed to click really well, and you can see them having a really good partnership and "J" word. The rest, well, I wait to see how things progress. Dont think I'm going to like Patsy much, but want Gavin out first. Don't think PD will last. Somehow, gawping at Ola's boobs in the way he did put me off of him. But my wife pointed out there really was nothing else TO look at as they were taking up pretty well all of his field of vision.

I think Widdy will last a few weeks thanks to the GBP. Hopefully not overstay her welcome though.

Me too!

As I haven't seen any of them dancing and don't really know many of them I'll wait and see.

I have met Ann in a restaurant and found her to be pleasant and has a lot more patience with loud mouthed louts than her public persona gives her credit for.

Think it's really difficult before we see any of the dances. It does seem unfair taht someone who's played Roxie in Chicago can sign up, surely Michelle's background can't be that dissimilar to one or two of the new professionals and Bruno was indicating that he's worked with a couple of the celbs before.

Got a soft spot for Ann but as to who will win can't really say

Under no circumstances? Ann - because if she;s kept in every week for popularity alone, it will be a travesty.(First use of the T word this thread - yay!)”

Will win : Matt or Jimi

Would like to win : Felicity, Kara or Michelle

I expect a man will win due to the predominantly female vote. As a bloke I have to confess that I am equally biased in favour of the women. However, I just want the best, or one of the best, dancers to win, irrespective of sex. No travesties again, please !
