Just seen these snippetts of info over on Gallifrey Base. A child actor called Jaimie Oram is playing a character called George in an episode which his acting CV says is called
" What Little Boys Are Made OF"
The link is here

scroll the box down to the last entry. This is likely to be the Neil Gaiman written episode which is being filmed at the moment.
This link says that his characters parents in the are being played by Daniel Mays and Emma Cunniffe

I remember Emma Cunniffe-she was "The Lakes" and
"Silent Witness". One of those "She's good-what else was
she in?" TV actresses.

Can we have some of Bradley James in next year's episodes as well? After having seen his top off in Merlin last night, he could well be a potential suitor for either Amy or Rory!

Is that so wrong to have a completely selfish reason to have him in it?

Unless Merlin is axed, don't expect to see any of their cast in Who. Although Colin Morgan and Anthony Head both appeared in it before Merlin started of course.

I would love to see either in the series again, particularly ASH. He could pull off another role besides the Krillitane he already played in Series 2.

I don't think anyone is eagerly awaiting a sequel to that disappointing story though. Tennant and the Olympic Torch?

Yup, Fear Her <shudder> is is the same locked box in my brain as the TVM, I pretend they didn't happen...

Tennant and the Olympic Torch are the disappointments of that story. The rest of it is lovely, though. I love the low-key atmosphere, the suburban neighbourliness, the scribble monster, the disappearances, something lurking in the wardrobe, Edna Dore ... excellent. Far more enjoyable than all the CGI and noise of the Dalek/Cyberman story that came after it.

The shame is that "Fear Her" had a good idea (children's
drawings coming to life) and a good writer in Matthew Graham.
I don't know what went wrong in the process.

I place quite a lot of blame on the actress playing the little girl in question, I have to say.

And that the setting was bland - but not in the 'creeping sense of unease' bland that they had in the suburban area in 'Survival', more a 'typical wannabe upper middle-class pretentious above its station' bland.

I'm with you on the fact that the central premise was great...

I thought Fear Her was very good. Reminded me of the great 80s film Paperhouse. Also a 70s TV series and book

I'm with you, Bugloss: I've never understood the dislike for Fear Her.

The only problem in that episode is the obsolete London 2012 branding.

And the Shayne Ward super star greatest hits album! Ugh, I hate modern day pop culter references in Doctor Who, as if we'll really remember some X-Factor winner like a hundred years in the future!
