Come on folks and have a chance to brag in three weeks. Who's the first for the chop?

My vote goes to Peter Shilton

Ann bless her. She can hardly walk, never mind dance.

I hope they dont turn Ann into the John Sergent, i think she knows her place is pantomine, but she seems so disgusted by it that im not sure what shes doing there...

oh yes i am... money - for a politican whose spent her life moaning about the haves and have nots shes jumped straight into the *haves* pool, yet moans about it at the same time

I think you could be right. I did think it would be Paul Daniels, but now I'm wobbling over towards Peter.

are they all performing on week one ? , i heard they are doing a friday show and a saturday show in the first week or two. so does that mean that the males get the cha cha cha and the women get waltz or are they both mixed. with the waltz being on the friday and the cha cha cha on the saturday.

anyway... i think that it could be between peter shilton and paul. it will definitely not be ann ! she has probably had the most publicity aswell !

What's James Jordan's partner called? I know it starts with 'P'...

Anyway, I think she'll be first to go. She doesn't have the novelty factor that Widdy or Daniels does, and she looked a bit clumsy in the group dance.

I think, unless he's got some serious skills, the Countryfile guy. Anne, Paul and Peter Shilton (who I'm assuming will be the worst) will get the public vote first week for the hilarity and it'll end up being someone who's forgettable and average but not awful, which for me is the Countryfile guy. See? I can't even remember his name and I just finished watching the show.

I think I read that nobody is eliminated in week 1, so we will get at least three dances per couple before someone finally goes home - that should give us a much better idea than before!

I reckon it will just be a mixed of couples doing either dance on the first Friday and Saturday - can't wait!

I think Ann has a few weeks left in her so judging on the brief glimpses we saw tonight could be between Peter, Patsy, Gavin or Paul with Peter going.

Ann will get the sympathy vote and the Anton fans that should keep her in for at least 4 or 5 weeks. Peter will have a reasonable fan base so he should last a couple of dances at least. Gav's a bit marmite in Wales but we do look after our own and he's a looker. I'd go for Paul to go first as I can't think who'd vote for him or Patsy for being mediocre but not generating enough of a sympathy vote.

I think Paul, Peter, Gavin, Patsy, Ann and Pamela will be early boots and possibly Michelle if she doesn't connect with the audience. I think Peter Shilton will be first, then Paul, then Patsy, then Gavin, then Pamela or Ann (though Pamela looks promising)

first out - Paul (hopefully) although I do like Ola so would be sad if she went.......or Peter

Paul came across a bit dirty old man-ish. He couldn't take his eyes out of Ola's cleavage.

I hope its not Ferlicity, love watching her in the re-runs of The Good Life.

Based on the dancing skill...or lack of it ...Gavin will be the first. But of course we have the reams of people who leap in and shrill 'it's an entertainment show not a dance show' so who knows.

It tends to be a popularity show for the first half of the series and then develops into a dance show when the all the below average dancers have been eliminated.

Us great British public don't get the early votes right as we can't help supporting the underdog but we usually pick the right finallists (forget the Chris Parker disaster - we haven't got it that wrong for a few years) and always get the right winner. I love Colin Jackson and backed him all the way to the show dance when even I was tempted to vote for Darren Gough.
ps. It's my birthday!

I think one of the four 'P's will be out first - Patsy, Paul, Pamela or Peter

I agree, the P's and Gavin seem most likely for first boot and early leavers...we'll see. I like Pamela though!

Gavin or Patsy, given last night's viewing. I think Ola's creativity will save Paul the first week.
