Peter or Pamela - I think they both have lower fan bases to draw on which is important in the early weeks - however, I think pamela will be the better dancer of the two.

I think it will be Paul Daniels.....Gavin looks awful on first view but think he will get votes like Joe last year. Michelle will have to connect with the audience because I still firmly believe that a lot of the 'core' SCD voters wont have heard of her and being globally famous didnt help Martina last year even though she was with one of most popular pros. Tina and Jared will get the mini SCD viewers vote Jimi and Flavia will be safe for weeks even if he isnt really good. So my money is on Paul

From what I have seen and heard I think Gavin wants to be the first one out as he really doesn't seem to have any intrest but I think Paul probably will go first but if Matt's partner still decides to showcase herself then I doubt he will lat very long either.

Its difficult... I doubt many would've predicted Martina's exit last year - even when she was against Rav!

I agree! Especially now they have done away with the dance off People will be voting for her because she is funny and makes them laugh. They will want to see what she does each week.

Ah but Matt used to be a gymnast so she wont be able to resist....I predict hand springs and all sorts.

I think Ola's clever choreography and her popularity off the back of last year will keep Paul in through the first vote.

I'd say Peter & Erin or Gavin & Katya will go first.

Its not as though Matthew's popularity got him through with Martina though

And I didn't say just on popularity, on skills alone OIa's the best partner to get Paul through a couple of weeks - she made Kenny Logan and Andrew Castle survive far beyond what their original ability suggested they should!

I can see Peter having footballs fans in the same way the past footie contestant had. Paul Daniels may garner some votes - however the comedy vote is probably taken by Anne at this point.

Unless Goldie is good, I cant see him getting past the first couple of weeks - although he came 2nd in Maestro, this is a bit of a different ball game and coud go either way.

Tina is an interesting one - I would exepect a certain level of popularity due to her being in Corrie (however look at Gillian and Jessie from EE) - I think she'll be OK - she could be in trouble if she is mid table, however I can see her getting past the 1st week - I guess it depends what dance she gets week 1.

I am thinking along the same lines as some above....maybe Tina or Michelle as they don't have the BBC fan base. Michelle may win over some with her personality as she is quite funny - but she may just come over as a brash american. Tina will have to be really good to come near the top of the table and save herself.

I disagree about Peter. I read in one of the papers today that he had some ballroom dance training when he was about 17 years old to help him with his football training. Maybe he could be one of the dark horses in this years competition?

I think the couple most likely to go out first week will be whoever is unlucky enough to be situated around 4th or 5th from the bottom of the table as usually the bottom three or four tend to get the "sympathy vote".

I really don't know. I think Tina and Jarred could have a hard time... but I don't know why. She looked quite shy and his dancing on the night didn't seem great, but it could be me just talking a lot of old rubbish. I can't predict these things very well.

Do you think so? Although he's had the most varied career, I'd say Jimi probably doesn't have a core fanbase like the other actors taking part, if he's in the middle of the leaderboard I think he could be in trouble. I hope not though.

Yeah watched it from the very first series hence my post - after the debate and hate threads over John Sergeanta coiple of years ago and the nastiness directed at whats his name from corrie last year - surely the powers that be will step in and "sort it" to save face for Ann

I have a bad feeling about Peter (I love Erin, but I think she might take an early exit this year unfortunately) I would love to be proven wrong.

Ann will most definately be the JS of this series, and Paul will get by for a week or two by entertainment value as well probably.

Probably a middle of the table couple without an obvious fanbase and so would predict maybe Pamela and James or Goldie and Kristina........

Which would be a shame since I like both celebs and also think their partners deserve a longer run this time round.
