pamela or patsy

I agree with whoever it was who said either Peter or Patsy.

I think Paul will be saved by Ola's creative choreography.
Gavin will prob be saved first week but will not be around much longer.

Ann will be sticking around for about 2-3 weeks until the comedy dance thing gets boring.

I hope Patsy doesn't as she was on Chis Moyles show the other day and sounded like she needed a boost Very nice and self depreciating though.

I'd go for one of these 2. I also think Michelle will be at risk (unlikely to go due to being a good dancer I'd guess) as most of the Strictly demographic wont know who she is!! (Destiny's Child??? Who they??)

Patsy also. She doesnt seem to warm a personality to me.

Peter and Pamela might be rubbish dancers but will lack the hilarity/car crash TV aspect of Paul or Ann. People will want them to stay simply to see how terrible they are each week!!

Who's the fan base for Peter or Pamela??

Peter or Paul...woman most likely to go first is Pamela

Hmmm.... I think Goldie may be a bit of a Hollins where everyone thinks he's a duffer but he's far from it, and very likeable.

I gotta go clean this bloody kitchen.

I think Goldie will do well- he's a talented man and along with Anne is one of the most unlikely contestants this year. I think people will like the disparity between his image and him dancing in pink lycra.

I hope Tina does well, she seems very sweet and I like Jared too. I think maybe they could get the tween vote as the cute little couple?

It's funny to say but I think Anne is one of the safest out of them all.

Paul's a funny one (not through any of his jokes). He may annoy us on here but he probably appeals to a certain type of person who miss him on television. He's a big name and still manages to fill theatres, he must have fans.

I hope Patsy stays: she always strikes me as quite dry and funny, though it may be hard for her humour to come across. Hopefully it will on ITT if she gets the chance.

So I would say the most likely to go is unfortunately Peter. He seems a nice man, but he probably lacks a big fan base, and his fans most probably won't vote on here.

Pamela is the other name that comes to mind.

But who knows what will happen.

I think he said that on his interview video on the SCD website, so I do know what you mean. If it wasn't for the fact that he is 60 now, I would agree. I think he'll be fine with the ball room, but he'll struggle with Latin and tbh I don't see him having that big a fan base. Probably I'll be completely wrong!

I am thinking may be Pamela might be one of the first, but then again James is quite popular so it's anybody's guess! I think Ann will be around for a while too

I completely agree with Vivadiva - Ann is the least likely to be out in week 1, IMO. She could stand stock still in the middle of the stage and Anton could do his "best" Latin around her, and she'd still get through.

The lurve for her on these threads seems to suggest she'll be in for weeks until some really brilliant dancers have to go because she's being kept in.

I think it will be Peter Shilton, which is a shame as I wish Erin had been given somebody different.

I would have said Paul in week 1 but Ola will choregraph very carefully - and she'll wear a ring tab from a Coke can and that will keep them in the first week!

Love the idea that Ola's costumes get more revealing according to the level of ability of her celeb!

Pamela will be fondly remembered by my generation as the girl from Not the 9 o Clock News.....

Lets just hope she has retained the zany sense of humour through her PhD studies..... but she IS married to Billy .....

She looked quite good in the group dance -

She really threw herself into the group dance! I can see her technical quality being sacrificed because of how enthusiastically she dances!

I doubt if Gabin will get the support of the Welsh public, as he has deserted his rugby roots - could be first out"

Judging from the apprecation threads (or lack of!), Peter and Patsy seem to have the least public support. Of those two I'm guessing that Patsy will be the better dancer, so that means Peter is likely to be first out. Poor Erin.

I always feel sorry for the poor soul out first, but i think it may be Gavin or Peter. If it's true about Gavin wanting to go first then it should be him (what's he doing there in the first place??)

I always feel sorry for the first one out too, but to make it worse, by the time the final comes around and they all trot on to the dance floor for one last time, I've often forgotten some celebs were even on the show!

The AT threads are probably quite a good popularity measure of each celeb, although the pro involved might be part of the reason.

Yes he was, and I think he also (many years ago) used to be in a disco dancing troupe oh no, he has a dancing advantage.

Unless Matt Baker is as good as the rumours are suggesting, then I don't think he's got the personality or the fanbase to survive a 'meh' dance.

I'm hoping for it to be Gavin though - no personality, no fanbase (I'm yet to find people who like him) and no skills either. Out out out.

I thought Peter Schmeichel would be binned in seconds but he survived a lot longer than he should have, despite not even having much of a personality to carry him through.

Shilton's a bigger legend of the game than Schmeichel and seems to have more personality as well. I'll give him a couple more weeks
