Apparently she played the first lesbian on television, directed by Douglas Camfield no less. Complete news to me, as I thought Douglas was quite a right-winger judging from what I've read about him.

There was me thinking the first TV lesbians were Myra Frances (Lady Adrasta in Creature from the Pit) and Alison Steadman.

Maybe they were the first lesbian kiss rather than just the first lesbians, though.

She was also in "Target" starring Patrick Mower as a vomiting drug addict which gave me a bit of a shock at the time I can tell you...sadly, Target was axed for crossing the boundaries of taste and decency whereas in fact, it was a pretty good show and not just because I fancied the guy playing "Bunny"

I watched that episode a few weeks ago! The series isn't as hard-hitting as I recall but some of the violence - though not particularly graphic - is quite disturbing.

You get to see a bit more of 'Bunny' in "The Face of Evil", though.

I've not seen Target (would very much like to), but I;ve always heard it's good stuff. Graham Williams was Producer.

Well, my Mother drew the line on "Target" when a villainous type boiled a pan of water on the stove, carried it upstairs and poured it all over his slut-of-a-wife...I can kind of understand Mum's thoughts with hindsight.
