I agree Ola's being a complete sweetheart, they might surprise a few people, really hope she stays in longer than a week or two!

And Flavia looked so happy, so lovely to see, so did Aliona, Artem, Robin and James

I think actually they were all happy with who they got maybe apart from Katya who is going to have her work cut out with Gavin. Jared and Tina just looked quite nervous but I think they were both happy with the choice and Jimi looked very happy didn't he.

well I think it could have been quite hard for all of them. Think about it: they`ve been together fo some hours during the rehearsals for gruop dance. Maybe all of them: the pros and the celebs had their choices and expectations. For example, the pros saw a little bit of celebs` abilities. On the other hand the celebrities knew with who they get on. Sometimes it`s hard to hide disappoitment )

Kristina didnt actually look as upset as I would have if I had been given Goldie. Its about bloody time the girl gets someone who could potentially be good.

Ann tells us that
i) She has no sense of rhythm
ii) She can't do footwork for the life of her
iii) She is always behind everyone else in timing
iii) She forgot at least 3 steps in the group dance

I thought Pamela looked uncomfortable. She didn't put her arms around James. She was asking for humour, so maybe that's why! Though personally James is my fave!

to be fair, vincent was over the moon as it was 50/50 between Felicity and Anne...no wonder he was happy. If it was Kara v Felicity I bet he wouldnt have looked as happy then.

James has a very funny sense of humour, think she just needs to get to know him a bit first. I think she looked quite happy actually, as did he.


Not acording to Vincent and Flavia! Their newsletter this evening said the only pairing the pros had guessed correctly was Paul and Ola!!! Which explains Ola's calm reaction anyway, she'd guessed and so had time to prepare herself!

I think Maz1111 means the backstage VT the BBC put on Youtube. I don't think they look uncomfortable, they're just a lot calmer than most of the others and because they're at the end it seems a bit out of place! She said she can't wait to start training though!

One difference Gavin is much better looking than Joe!!!! I cant agree with all the 'he looks bored' comments, I am reserving judgement until we see if he can dance; I think Katya will bring the best out of him!

I felt a bit sorry for Katya . Mr Henson's greeting was pretty lukewarm and he barely looked at her.

I think it was her that said in the interview she wanted James? I think it's just the way they were all expected to comment on what they thought of the pairings, but none of them really knew what to say!

Their ITN interview is much clearer, they look very happy there and she says she 'lucked out' in getting James - clearly not uncomfortable at all

I thought she was showing off his "guns". She seemed quite pleased with him, I thought. As to Gavin I think he was just embarrassed about the whole "guns" thing.

Actually I thought that the only air of doubt appeared when Goldie was told he was getting Kristina Rihanoff. He definately was hoping for someone else.

On paper, Gavin ought to do well: fit, athletic, young, focused. In reality, having no sense of rhythm, no love of performing and going into the competition to take his mind of his messy life makes him an unattractive proposition for Katya. Mind you, I think she's still sulking about her disastrous hair-do, not her partner.

Poor James! I really hoped this would be his year to lift the glitter-ball, but credit to the man for being so nice about his partner. I think Pamela may surprise us all, but she can't win it.
