I know, but didn't the villans tend to lose and Penelope win? That's what I meant - their evil schemes will not work

Wacky Races came first, which introduced Dick Dastardly, Muttley, Pitstop and the Anthill Mob.

She then got a spin-off show where her executor of state or whatever, Sylvester Sneakly, was always trying to off her (to get the money), in his secret guise of 'The Hooded Claw.' The Anthill Mob always saved her.

But in Wacky Races, DD was trying to stop _everyone_ so you are right and you are wrong.

Well the Hooded Claw did have two big fat muscle guys of little brain capacity as his hired thugs, so maybe the Dan/Jay/Vic analogy is correct.

That was Dick Dastardly's spin-off show from Wacky Races. Common misconception is that 'Dastardly and Muttley's Flying Machines' (aka stop the pidgeon) came first - it didn't. You can see pictures of their car from Wacky Races in the background in some eps.

GOD, I'm a dork. Stuart's got nothing on me. Love me, Michelle...
