Just been watching the highlights (I'm up to week 5). I never saw the highlights first time round as I stopped watching HL in BB5 after the horific editing that happened and stuck to live feed.
I also missed the first couple of weeks live feed for various reasons so am seeing some of it fresh. I was majorly surprised wathcing the HL as I expected to see the edited John James doesn't like her version. But so far I'm stunned cause what really jumps out at me is how much John really really liked Josie from the very start.
If anything I'd say it was more obvious that he liked her than the other way around. I don't get where the whole brother sister thing came from - its obvious to a blind man that he really really liked her pretty much straight away. He liked fancied feel in love with what ever you want to call it from week one.
I also have a theory about the whole I just don't look at her like that. To my mind I don't think John James did 'fancy' her, what he felt went way way deeper than that he fell head over heels in love and I think there is a subtle difference in his head.
John relates fancying someone to seeing someone in a club and getting the 'mac daddy on'

but with Josie it was a much more emotional connection that he felt, it wasn't about a quick slam as he would say. From his comments I'm not sure that he had felt that way before hence the shock and confustion. Also where I think it messed up for him was that he had major doubts about Josie's feelings and he was scared that in her eyes it was just physical. It wasn't just Josie that had a six foot wall around her John had a six foot six one
It took all the ups and downs for them to really realise that they were both on the same page and what a journey it was too. I really hope that they stick it out cause I think its really rare to find that kind of connection and I know the pressure on them must be enourmous but I'm a believer in love conquering all.
One last thing how the blooming heck did so many of the others deny that it was more than friendship. Some of the looks and hugs gave me goosebumps and that was through a tv screen so to witness it live must have been obvious what was going on
