Is BT Vision any good?
I've read so many posts on here,
Slag Vision this, slag Vision that, Oh no, Visions great, Vision works for me....... Ect, ect, ect (As the King once said to Miss Anna). I have Vision, and think it's brill (for what I want). My family love it too. But i am curious to know what other users think. So I wanted to know, what do YOU Vision customers think about it? Good service? Reliable box? Decent content? And, above all, is it value for money for what you get? Thanks in advance for your comments. |

Don't start this again. We been though this time and time again, some people like it, some people don't.
I like the idea and very brave of BT to go for it, but sadly Bt broadband compared to others is pretty grim and the content on BTV is pretty grim as well. |

Yeah, I saw this thread and thought oh no here we go again.
For what it's worth, I don't have any problems with BT Broadband and will get the infinity product as soon as the exchange is upgraded later this year. I also think Vision is the dogs bollocks, love it

There are times when there is no new content for me but quite often there is and it tends to be a series of something, such as X Files, which I really like so I watch back to back episodes of |

You were always gonna attract the BTVision hate brigade with this one - and you surely have
The problem I have with BTV is that to get it you need to have BT lousy broadband service. You would have thought BT being as large as they are would offer a much better service. BT customer service is rubbish as really been proved over the last months. a mate of mine have been having problems with his phone line since late April and have sent five engineers up to try and sort it out, only on the fourth engineer they realised that the problem is not in the property Now the problem is worse, his internet have been down for 5 days, well six days including today, the phone line is crackling like hell, which is why the internet have been down and yet nothing can be done until Friday. Bt promised him that it would be fixed a couple of weeks ok, it worked for 3 days. Now it seems like it is permanently broken, he phoned up a couple of times and had the phone put down on him, he have had rudeness from BT customer support. if he have been rude then that would be a different thing, but he is not like that and I can't imagine him having a go at them, If it was me, it would be different, because I would tell them what I thought. He is not with Bt for internet and it is not a internet problem, it is a phone line problem and he is with Bt for his line rental and calls, having got from Talk Talk because the was having the same problem with them None of them seems to want to know . Anyway, that is the main problem with BT their customer service stinks and they put you onto someone in India who to be honest is as useless as the day is long. When BTV works, it works well, I seen it in action at it's best and at it's worse. i watched a few good things on it, but it would not be a thing to get me to go back with Bt broadband. Remember I changed to BT for my landline so I could have BTV, then changed my mind as i was fed up with T.V and decided not to bother with a T.V licence. Before you say anything , I do now have a T.v licence, got one last week, not sure why I bothered mind you as it is still the same crap So BTV, good idea, just not enough good content and dodgy broadband service from Bt. |

Obviously, you must have had a bad experience with BT broadband, however just because you personally have had a bad experience, it doesn't make the whole service dodgy. I had the worst broadband experience of my life with Talk Talk, which I would never again touch with so much as the longest bargepole, but I don't spend half my life on Talk Talk messageboards slagging then off. Get over it and move on...... please, because it's very dull reading the same comments from the same person over and over and over again.
I have not had a bad experience with Bt, just not a very good one. their broadband service just about works and that is all I can say to be honest, once I got onto the cable and wireless LLU system, I realised how much better my broadband is now. |

For the record,
I have no idea what 'trolling' is. And I did ask for feedback from current users. Ah well. |

Anyway I'll leave you ponder that while I'm watching Spurs on Sky Sports 4.
