Alternatives to a Video Sender
As the title says really...
I have set top boxes in the lounge (cable pvr and blu ray recorder) which I record onto and I would like to be able to distribute the recordins around to the bedroom. Videosenders have been a nightmare due to wireless networks and alarms. I get a continuous pulsing on all channels whether I use 2.4ghz or 5.8ghz senders, so these are no longer an option. In the same way that there is home plugs to distribute internet via electrical sockets, is there anything similar for video signals? I don't want to run large amounts of coaxial or other cable around the home. Unfortunately DTT reception is so poor around here that any internal aerial for the bedroom is also ruled out of the equation. If anybody can suggest a good solution, I'd be very grateful. Thanks in advance. |

I don't want to run large amounts of coaxial or other cable around the home. Unless you stream from a device as a Media Centre then wireless is possible, but you're not going to get 'broadcast' quality, just digital versions, although they can be very good, but it depends on the 'receiver'. |
