I am looking to buy the above tv mainly because it has screen burn protection.

I am confused, i am not technically minded, can i use the tv with my sky hd box (it says it has freeview installed so i am confused) also can i use my surround sound system with this.

All help will be great.

Yes your Sky HD box will connect via HDMI (1080i). The Freeview tuner is built in.

You have made an excellent choice of screen. The Samsung plasmas are very good for the money. I've had mine 2 and a half years and can't complain.
