Im not to sure how it works. I just found out about it after i noticed some of the people i follow on lj started moving their fics to dw because of concerns over facebook. i've found it easier to accidently share .

i noticed it myself the other day - there's a 'share' button at the bottom of where you're posting that says 'tick this' and you can share what you're posting on facebook and twitter etc. it only posts (i'm pretty sure ha) if you click it. so just don't click!

Also, have you heard about Kieran Richardson from Hollyoaks/DOI coming out as gay? Apparently he's come out cos his HO character is about to have a gay storyline....meaning that 5 major soaps will all have gay storyline's running! Eastenders, Emmerdale, Corrie, Neighbours and now Hollyoaks!!! How amazing is that?!

Did you read about the ED actor who came out today on This Morning? I had the TV on when the programme started just to see if Johnny would do the newspaper review and when they announced this guy I thought Oh, I'm sure he's coming out and left it at that. Kept doing the million and one things I'm doing today.....then I logged on just now I saw that indeed he has done and that ED is going to run another gay storyline with him and another character. I'm sure they will also do a great job.

I hope that Kirkwood gets a grip and does Chryed justice....I know all of the misgivings that the BBC and EE had at the begining but they don't apply anymore....and it's not just because I want competition with the other soaps in the "gay storyline quota" either, it's just that with the boys they have an amazing opportunity of exploring and developing this relationship that shouldn't work because of ther differences but it does because of their committment and love....after last night's fiasco with Rack (one that anyone could see coming a mile off ) we don't get a maddening shock......

I say it again, the characters that Kirkwood seems to be investing in more are the pre-Santer ones.....more than ever I want to hear what he has to say tomorrow...

Just reading another thread on here about Kieran Richardson. Seems most people assumed he was out already. Shame he feels he has to 'announce' it at all really.

There is a DS thread from Jan 2008 saying that KR was in a gay club in Manchester telling people the DJ was his partner, so he was hardly deep in the closet.

Just wanted to say that I am indeed still alive and feel very shameful that I have not been in Chryedville for some weeks

R/L has been very busy lately with relatives visiting for most of August and my eldest has just started school and have been struggling to find time to get on.

Anyway, lovely ardchoile has been keeping me updated with any news and pics etc so I am not totally out of the loop. I have been thinking of you all and promise to try and get on here more
