I thought he was all taken with the young blonde pretty thing in DOI last January (was her name Emily, I forgot). The one from Skins or the Inbetweeners. Hammy is just too unpredictable, maybe he will support Ann

I forgot about Emily, so it could be Tina. Or Ann

I still reckon Kara or Michelle though.

Even if John doesn't muse this year, I hope he at least tells us who Hammy's supporting

I think you might be right, and depending who goes first, he would swear that he supported the other person all along. Good old Hammy.

Short musings would be great. I know I'm greedy and no pressure, but sometimes the biggest highlight of the show SCD and DOI comes from John's musings.

I adore John's musings. He always manages to put exactly what I was thinking into words.

It will be sad if he can't muse for us (I was firmly in the JfW camp on the John v Monkseal thread last series - soz MS) but his new job comes first.

Knowing Hammy the way we do, I think Kara will have him squeaking at the tele and performing somersaults. I fear even a vat of radishes may not be enough to display his feelings about Ann......

I think Ann might scare the cat witless the first time her and Anton dance!

Aloha all

Don't forget Hammy is getting on a bit in "Hammy years" so Ann looks a good prospect.

I'm another great JfW fan and neither Strictly nor DoI would be the same without him. Obviously the real world must come first so no pressure John, but you entertain us all so much that there are many fingers firmly crossed that you can find some musing time this year.

Hammy and the old political Ham .... eek! What a prospect

I must confess to a bit of a crush on Hammy - although I am neither young nor blonde so have no chance!! Would love to see what he and the cat make of Gavin's woodenness and Ann's rhythmic skills!

Fingers crossed that John finds the time to be an ornament to the series. If not, I may start my own 'Lorelei Loves...' column. (If that's not an incentive I dunno what is)

JFW's musings are as much a high-lite of SCD as Claudia on ITT. Real life first - John you are very much appreciated <smoooooooooch>

Just spotted this thread and I have to say I'm touched (insert joke about that being a complete sentence) by the comments.

So, here's the thing - I'd really like to do one more series but I have some extra-curricular activities going on so I don't know if I can maintain either the standard or the frequency. For those who are interested I'm going to start but I may not be able to finish. Exciting isn't it?

Now, where's the mallet, there's some hamster discipline to be dished out...?

John, we completely understand if you can't manage to muse for us. We'll be disappointed but we understand. But will you just tell us who Hammy's supporting this year? We're all on tenterhooks to know

Aww yay!! Thank you JfW, Strictly isn't complete without your musings. And it is exciting to see if you'll finish (a journey of your own!)

John, a partial muse is better than no muse at all. Thank you. There's a *waft* coming your way on the rug.

Anything you find you have the time to write would be great JfW.

Whatever you can find the time to do will be great JfW. I have friends who aren't on the forum who have been receiving your musings via email for the last two years and think they're brilliant and will be bitterly disappointed if you don't manage to do at least a few!

Yes, anything is better than nothing John - we need our updates on Hammy's WMDs for a start... Have the UNI Inspectors been round yet?

I am hoping Hammy behaves and doesnt go running up trousers legs or anything .We might all get confused if we saw Hammy in Gavin Henson trousers .
